This is too easy. Nintendo controls the board.

Yes. Nintendo beats Sony in everything that has to do with handhelds. Nintendo will be fine because of the price.

Maybe nintendo should drop consoles all together (home consoles) and focus on Handhelds.

The new "N" handheld could be a hard hardware for the new SONY stuff. I think that the Ninteno players don't buy the SONY because the "N" player wants a "N" games.
The PS, Xbox and PC player coul be the SONY target but many PC an Xbox player are Ninteno player and I think that who wants to play "ifferent" games don't have many way... only Nintendo.

Hmmmm... I hate this kind of pro nintendo speculation crap! It's too soon to tell ppl!
Doesn't it feel a bit like forbes constructed this little comparison so that it would look good for nintendo. OK, so nintendo have sold a lot of gameboys and have a history of handhelds and that's gotta count for something, sure.

But it doesnt really say anything about which console's gonna be the meanest. Give me some hardware processor gamesize memory millions of colours.... i wanna hear that the difference between these two are like the very obvious difference between GC and PS2. That's all they need to tell me. So let's wait until they come out so taht you can test them... maybe?

They've all done that alread. PSP is a lot more powerful but power doesn't mean jack. The PS2 is very weak compared to the Xbox yet PS2 kicks its but in sales. All the previous competition agains the Gameboy was more powerful, ever single one of them....all failed. I'll give you three most important factors for comparrison.

Price.
DS - $135.00 to $200.00
PSP - Stated anywhere from $250.00 to $550.00

Games.
DS - 30 launch games plus over 1000 GB titles ready to play.
PSP - 4 launch games.

Battery.
DS - 12-16 hours
PSP - 2-3 for games/movies....8 for music.

Also note that most articles comparing anything Nintendo against another is almost always siding with the other and finally Nintendo gets a little recognition.

"Compatible games available at launch:
PSP: At least 4
DS: At least 1,100 preexisting Game Boy titles"

I love it.

Nintendo also has more developer support on the DS than the PSP does.

I, for one will be getting a DS, possibly a PSP, but it depends on what games are on it. Once that one dude announced Zelda DS, I was hooked even more than I was before.

For some reason a Metal Gear card game doesn't really appeal to me (Metal Gear Acid on the PSP).
