This movie has gone under change after change, tweak after tweak and all the while, staying low on the radar...
Well, some new info has been found that has tickled my fancy into thinking this could bring redemtion into Jackie's slow showings lately.
Stars:
Jackie Chan - Main character; plays an ancient Chinese warrior (USES OLD WEAPONRY!!!!!), and a present day adventurer ala Indiana Jones/Armor of God.

Kim Hee-Sun - Jackie's romance in both the present and the past. Her role is a Princess.

Hugo Weaving  - Plays Jackie's enemy, most likey both in the past and present.

It will be written by Wang
Hui-Ling, writer of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon . The story will be an adaptive of an old Korean myth, of an interrupted romance between a Princess (Kim), and a traveller (Chan).
Directed by Stanley Tong  (Rumble In The Bronx, and a VERY good director); Says about Kim - "Kim Hee-Sun is the Korean female star
with the most classical flavor, the most suitable to play this ancient
beauty role." (He has also been looking to Kim and Jackie to help adapt scenes and situations to help bring their characters the most flair.); Says about location - "This time we will work in India, China's Xian, Lanzhou, Guaizhou, Shanghai, and Hong Kong. Each location is very
beautiful. It is a little rough but it's worth it." Shooting starts in Shanghai in early July.
Budget - 240 million HKD, 30 million US.
Screening - Summer 2005; 60 countries, 2000 screens.
I will update this thread when the diary is posted, so don't close this when i bump it :D
