Have any of you guys ever watched a couple of year old movie and then they try to use the special effects that use to be so "amazing" and "realistic" and they look so stupid and unrealistic? I think it's kind of strange...so do you think our special effects in today's movie will look like crap in a couple of years?

they already look like crap. i hate the overuse of computerized speacial effects that are used today. they really need to go back to using real life highly detailed models becuase that looks A LOT more realistic.

I agree. Some scenes in the new Star Wars films that are completley computer generated would look so much better if they had done it the way they did 25 years ago.
