lol, i forgot how many i've done... 3 or 4...
ANYway...

This time up is BONNIE PINK, aka Kaori Asada http://www.projectj.net/bonnie/bonnieb.JPG.

She's a wonderful guitarest, and her songs endear a certain happy/sad style that touches your heart. Her voice is soft, subdued and caring; her lyrics are wonderfully compiled, and splashes of english here and there with her cute accent bring out a nice fresh feel.

She played her guitar everywhere she went, and it payed off... she was approached by a record producer and pumped out her first album Blue Jam. Two years later, the album that did nothing for her on the charts got her a contract with a bigger producer, and out came Heaven's Kitchen. It wasn't anything special, especially compared to the first, but it got her the recognition she deserved... she's put out 5 albums since, and IMO, she's improved every step of the way!

I may check it out, but I'm rather lazy, you see.

Don't know about you, but the J-Pop and J-Rock craze is fuggin' taking over, at least where I live. More Asian kids + more anime = insanity.

Yeah, you know why?
It happens cuz i like it :(
When ever i like something, it usually gets ruined, broken, sells out, or gets thrown out...

:(

Don't be like that! Share your vast knowledge!

I am!!!!!

lol...
I'm listening to the Cardigans right now... watch them make a comeback this year... lol.

Someone get the song so you can say 'meh' and then i can say, 'well that's ok, at least you gave it a listen. Thanks'...

:)

I listened, and the only major complaint I have is the precussion. The drums sound exactly the same the entire way through. It ends kinda abruptly, too.

I give it a 7.5/10

Well that's ok, at least you gave it a listen. Thanks!

lol...

I guess i like this song mostly for the sound and flow of her voice... especially during the chorus :D

no way is jpop getting popular in the rest of the world. im sick of the shit and its making me want to leave this country something shocking. EVERY single band looks like backstreet boys and every female singer looks like a jap avril lavigne. and they all sound like shit.
And they sue retarded english just to be cool. Seeing some punk jap singer screaming `happy life and follow your harmony` jsut fdoesnt do it for me.

But `glay` look cool, ill give them that. And `kinki kids` is an ironically funny band name [kinki is a district around osaka and kyoto]

Glay is one of the worst Japanese... things... to ever come about...

except the reggae. Jap reggae rocks :headbang:

its an insult to music calling jpop music
but
its kind of an insult to the noise a banshee falling off a skyscraper would make by calling jpop `noise`

i just like to call it the horrible evil at the roots of modern japans disgusting consumer-orientated young society.

How about the band EXILE. its so funny. its a boy band of like 7 guys. one `sings`, one stands next to him kinda trying to dance but it looks more like he is trying not to have diorreah. then you have 5 or so guys standing in a circle around them doing the same kinda dance.
they have a song `Choo Choo Train` with the chorus:

Fun fun we hit the step step
Beat beat feels like the skip skip

Great lyrical impact there....
Or the band NEWS. Everytime they try to say `Hooray!` they say `Bleih!`

^yeah, he was a jackass. :queer::queer::queer:

no but seriously, do you actually like j-pop. like, like it?

i`m not trying to be offensive, honestly, its just that i have never met anyone who isnt japanese who likes jpop. this is like something totally new to me.
as you can tell, i feel almost as strongly against jpop as viper feels about michael moore. im not trying to offend you. if you like it, go bananas. but....why?
