I hate car clubs *rant*

I really hate car clubs. They are either:

A) A gang of ricers with slow cars that have seen The fast and the fuious one too many times. And their clubs fastest car is a Civic SI with a type R badge. The only types of R's these cars are packin is Uncle Bens Rice
B) A bunch of low riding trucks that thinks its cool to have your truck so slammed to the ground; that they can't even pull into Taco Bell with out scapping their bumper. Usually all show no go.
C) When I finally find a club that has some fast cars, the owners are usually super arrogant and think that engine size and brand names are everything. They spend their days worshiping engine displacment, pushrods, and combing their mullets.

I will never ever join a car club. I rather have a sleeper and go fast with class. The only indication that project talon is fast is going to be the front mount intercooler and the chirp of my blow off valve. You won't know whats coming to you until its too late and your in my mirror :lick:

True true, I didn't think the fast and furious thing wasn't that bad until I met this one guy who took it WAYYY to seriously. I mean he was like "My dad's getting me an eclipse and i'm gonna move to LA and just street race with my NOS. I'll lower it and put those light thingies underneath it and it will be cool and fast. I'll be rich cause they bet thousands of dollers and I will win and I will get others cars from beatin them after jumpin off of a bridge."

I found a really cool car club in my area. Although it is a civic club so :P

Everyone there is super nice and inviting and they're all anti rice. And quite a few of them have really fast, well tuned cars.

The only car clubs I am completly against is any one that has a lowered truck. Why the hell someone would lower a truck is beyond me. Trucks are not ment to be lowered it defeats the purpose of a truck. Put a lift kit on it and some massive tires thats all that should be done.

wow, just wow.... half of you people here dont even drive and you gotta be bashing clubs and low trucks. thats some bullshit right there. i use to be in an s-series truck club but the club kinda went sour. and yes i do have a lowered truck. and yes i do plan on slamming it to the ground with airbag suspension and getting a complete shave job on it with a full tweeded interior. and im also planning on putting an LS6 in it a few years later down the road. and joing another club. i know a lot of car clubs out there and i do hang out with a lot of them. yes there are some shitty clubs out there but you guys wouldnt know what todo if a good car club hit you in the ass.

and for you sir... since when did you become god? if trucks arent ment to be lowered and it defeats the purpose of a truck, so whats the purpose of a raised truck with big ass tires? you should have respect for people that customize there rides and stop hatin. customizing cars/trucks is a hobby for a lot of us. its what we like to do.

I knew Silent Warrior would come in here sooner or later.

It takes allot of work and money to customize your ride. It doesnt matter if you are working on making it fast or making a show car, it's a hard job to do either way. But every car club I have met have been full of pricks/ ricers.

i can drive thanks. im just asking, not being a wise ass do you raise the truck to go over speedbumps and such, i just dont understand. and if a good car club hit me in the ass i might run to the hospital cause itd probably hurt.
