I just read in an article that there will be an XBOX 2 coming out in 2006.

They "announced" Xbox 2 a while ago, It seems stupid to even be thinking about it right now, not for Microsoft, for us to be thinking about it.

If it's me, I'm probably going to get a PS2 soon, so I'm not getting an XBOX unless a lot of money comes on my door step.

If it's Microsoft, they could have two sections:

Makers for XBOX
and
Makers for XBOX 2

In the gaming world you always have to be thinking ahead.

I agree, Chris. But you shouldn't be telling me that, you should tell that to the people who think that San Fransico is getting the Olympic games in 2012! That's in about 9 years. I saw people having parties on t.v.

I wouldn't be scared of 3 years ... not downing Microsoft either, since I now will have an X-Box in 2 days or so, But they shouldnt be planning ahead of themselves so much, who know's what will happen .. the X-Box could die out by then..

that is true xx revolution. but microsoft knows that playstation 3 weighs like 600 pounds. i read it in my friends psm or something like that.

ok...The reason they announced that is some people thinks that Xbox will die. And Xbox 2 wont even come.

So M$ is assuring them that they have long term plans, And is not going out of buisness so you can buy Xbox without even worring about it.
