Hi, for those who have not heard it yet. I have started making my own musit on the computer. I play trombone in school, I'm a DJ, I'm starting guitar, and now digital music production on the PC. Its a mix of techno/trance, house/electro, and more!
> You can take a listen to the songs here (http://music.download.com/briankissane/3600-8243-100268286.html?tag=quickurl)!
Feel free to give me + and - feedback, thanks!

Hey bro, I listened to the first few of your songs. Very good bro, very good. It really has that hi-tech, techno, vibe to it, mixed with the lay'd back that some house music has. I really liked it and will listen to it some more. Keep it up bro, good job.

Thanks, will do, I'll keep pumping out more new music soon. I'm happy with the download amounts, 700 in two weeks. Thats an incentive to keep me going with this.

You play trombone, your starting guitar...but instead of anyone actually hearing what your doing you screw it up with techno and keyboard sounding crap. Do something good with your talents. For gods sake start a band or something, just DONT have a DJ, make it a jazz band or just the regular type, look into Miles Davis, the Beatles even.
Techno is a waste of your other skills. Not techno :(

Those are school activities... And well, I'm starting guitar, not at a good level yet, and I'm not going to record myself playing the trombone. And I am in the school jazz band, and concert bands also. We took first place at every district and state contest in both concert and jazz band. This is just something I'm just playing around with on the computer.

Techno isn't the greatest type of music in the world, but it is just what you need when you need to sleep or get into a rhythm. Like on DDR.

Lol, I should change my descripton, its not 'rea' techno, its more dance/house kind.... not so hardcore. And well its made on the computer, So its not like a piano solo. Just for fun, thats all.

I'd pay to play those songs on DDRUltramix for my XBOX. Downloadable content, maybe?

That would be cool. They are in MP3 format, so can you download them, burn 'em to cd, then put them on your Xbox.... (and its free, as I wish I got paid, I dont).

Use your trombone, make it jazzier, something that has more of a vibe.

Magix Music Maker 2004 ('05 is out now).
Is that fun? Can you make music out of it, or is it a select amount of samples?
Silent Warrior
07-22-2004, 06:00 AM
its a selected amout of samples. theres alot. ive made some songs on it. but i know you can put any type of samples/music in it you wish if you wanted too.
Bkbro429

Yes exactly, its the way you want to compose the piece, cut things out, make a mix of any selection of loops, anything.

You can download the trial edition of Magix Music Maker 2005 from Magix.com (but you will not get any of the samples.... it would take forever to download. I bought the program and it had 4 CD-ROMs with over 5,000 samples and video effects. Over 2.5 GBs. So if you download the trial, you'll need to supply the samples yourself.

Jazz bands for school is the queer. Do something like get a few people have a jam session or something, but instead of playing the stuff the school gives you, look up some good jazz.
JAM SESSION!

I have enough on my hands now, starting high school, I have concert band, mentor band, pep band, marching band, guitar lessons. And most of my friends dont really play insturments like trombone, trumpet, sax, out of school, so really I cant start a Jazz band there. Possibly sometime though.
