To put it bluntly (I don't feel like a long post) the ideas are good but they just plain forget a certain concept - multiplayer. They could incorporate it but it would be difficult (especially the Tablet Console which would end up more like a DS if they have multiplayer like I think they would).
Ideas?

I noticed it was an N-sider article. Shows how poor of a mistake IGN made.

Yeah how are we supposed to know what your exactly talking about.
I noticed it was an N-sider article. Shows how poor of a mistake IGN made.
Not mentioning the fact that they only have like 400 members on their forum.

i didnt think it was that bad. a gyroid wouldnt work. i think the purpous of their purchase with that company was for portable games like tilt n tumble.... the tablet thing is ridiculous. the eye thing is somewhat interesting

I found that article kinda boring. I doubt all those features could be used in the revolution. But then again, I don't know what Nintendo's capable of.

^ of couse ALL of the features wouldnt be used...they were just brainstorming.
I think they are on to something with the infared sensors detecting depth in a game.

Yeah, they are good ideas and it's easy to see if they were put together right you'd have an unbelieveable gaming experience but it's doubtful it will be in a console.
Nintendo may just decide to use some of these ideas elsewhere. I'm a critic of VR but put some of those features in and I'm up for it.

I dunno, those controls gloves sound pretty damn cool. Think of how awsome it could be. You hold you hands as if you are holding a weapon and you're on screen person weilds them. And it would even kill the need for those bulky stearing wheels for car racing games. Hell even mario kart double dash would work. Switch people by "letting go" of the "wheel" and make a snaping motion, weapon use by making a gun shape with you hand and pointing up for a foward attack and down for a backwards attack. I would like to see that.
Fighters would even work too because they could put in a preinstalled controller position that you could alter (say you hate the GC controller for fighters. Go to options and be allowed to adjust the face buttons or swap the control stick for a control pad).. Those gloves would be so so SO SWEET!

I think they could use those ideas for another game machine but they would need to have a console beside it. You know - GBA/GCN/DS/VR

^ point taken and noted (again)
Nintendo will suprise. I never expected DK Jungle beat, but it flew to the top of my "OHH MERCIFUL GOD, PLEASE GIVE ME THESE GAMES!"

Nintendo will surprise us. I don't see how the Gloves would work in games like Prince of Persia. These ideas would work in an arcade...like an arcade from out of Batman beyond. If you've ever seen it
