So far it looks rather average. Since I wont get it untill it comes out on the Xbox the soundtrack really doesnt matter. Custom Soundtrack are always better. I do like the talk radio stations though. They are always good for a few laughs.
It's set in the early 90s....what else do you expect?

Beastie Boys: Sabatoge and Fight for your right to party
Those 2 would be sweet, just close your eyes and picture it

Well we know of 3 official songs now: Let Me Ride, Nuthin But a G Thing, and Gin & Juice.
We have three songs from our catalog appearing on the upcoming Rockstar Games release "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas". The songs that will be playing while you jack cars, recruit gang members, and make drug deals are "Let Me Ride", "Nuthin' But A G Thang", and "Gin & Juice". The game will be release October 2004.

Radiohead suck so fucking hard it's unbelievable. Other than that and the rap section, it doesn't look all that bad. I still say they bring back Doublecleff FM.

That's more the mid 90's though, right?
A great song that I loved to listen to while playing the PC version of GTA III was "Come Out And Play" by The Offspring. It's perfect for GTA.

Bitter sweet Symphony was the shit back in the day, but using as cruising tunes will be a little weird.

I like some of the rap selections more than the rock ones, which is bad considering that I dislike rap and am into rock. The rock selections wouldn't have been my picks of tunes from the time, if I were somehow able to have chosen them.
