I don't think Halo will stand the up in time, I mean I play goldeneye sometimes just to be notalgic, if Halo can't do this, then Goldeneye will really be the better overal game. I can barely go back and play Halo now, let alone in 3 years...so, yes...

Well, I loved GoldenEye at the time as well, but I try to go back and play it with friends, we start it, and like 30 minutes later wind up playing Halo anyway.

And if you want to talk overrated, look at Perfect Dark. It was good, but not that good.

Goldeneye set the foundation for what a great FPS can achieve on a console.
classic gameplay.

Halo used foundation and improves upon it with bumpmapping, textures, and vehicles.
new gen FPS fun.

both games are from two different gaming generations.
like i said....what is there to debate really?

i see perfect dark as more of an expansion to goldeneye (multiplayer wise) i enjoy perfect dark more just because of the laptop gun :D

Goldeneye set the standard for an fps and is way better then halo IMO. I don't see how perfect dark was better when I played it it felt to much like goldeneye with different weapons and a different enviroment, I played through once and then sold it to ryan. Were as on goldeneye I have gotten everything but one cheat, the lemming cheat or something like that.

Halos multiplayers blows both out of them water though.
