The Evo MR was just a little slower then the Lambo Gallado. Lets see a American v-8 do that for 33k from the dealership. Stock for stock Mitsu owns.

I just did some research of my own....a stock C5 Vette (375hp...not the new 500hp monster) beat the Skyline at Nurburgring with time of 7.57 beating a slitghtly modified r34.
The Nurburgring is 14 miles long and has over 170 turns and many elevation changes.

The Vette handles a whole lot better at turns than you think. It did better on the g test.

The MR1 looks better to me. Nicer looking grills, headlamps, hood...... but I prefer the body of a new Vette to both.

I like the Evo's sexy Front Mount Itercooler, and the headlights look 100x better, plus the car is super light compared to the wr1. Looks mean little to me, Give me a sleeper anyday. I do agree that the vette looks better, but they are totaly diffrent cars. The Evo and WR1 are rally bread monsters, while the corvette is like fine wine.

If I want looks I'll take the old Evo 5

The hood on the EVO's blow. It's like a little slit on it, Subaru at least made theirs look like something instead uf cutting a hole in the middle.

It isn't that hard to move an intercooler anyway. Doesn't cost much $$$ either.

That "little slit" is functional. Its a vent for the turbo. Turbos create insane amounts of heat, heat the intake and get detonation. Detonation = very bad.

The hood matches the grills on the Evo. The scoop on the Subaru looks so out of place, its sad. It doesn't even look stock, looks after market bolted on.

Notice how the MR's spoiler looks suspiciously like the STi one. Coincidence? I think not!

Although I love Scoobies just as much, I'm a biased Mitsi owner.....

Plus Evo's are way more rare in Oz, opposed to STi's which are everywhere....Evo's are a bit more special in that sense.
