I've played videogames since i was a toddler and what was great about videogames then were gameplay and fun factor.

now what bothers me are gamers who frequently blabber how nintendo is the best, or microsft or sony. I see no point, so what if Xbox has all these cool features and top-notch graphics, they have very few games that are actually good. I say that because it seems developers worry more about graphics (turok is an example) than actual game play. don't get me wrong, the xbox is a great system, but its way overrated.

Sony, how should i say it nicely, i know many people have playstation 2, even i do, they have some games i like. they are the reason why the videogame industry is messed up. first off, they made people believe that a system must have a, DVD player, great graphics, Quantity not Quality, 8MB memory card, i can go on, but i'll stop there.

Nintendo, the reason this industry still exist, but they too have problems. Why so hush hush with future plans? all they care about is making profits, playing it safe while sony and microsoft are satisfying there custumers by getting their feet wet. leave people with a nintendo console wondering where's the good stuff(I'll admitt, they are changing, but it's not enough).

the reason for this little post was not to bash the game industry or show my displeasure with people who play videogames, but to make fanboys understand, console makers don't care what you want, they want your money. Just pick a system, shut up and play. I want feedback from whoever reads this. this is my opinion so don't get on me if you disagree.

I Agree, Every System Has Pris and Cons, Just choose the System or systems that best suiot your interests and play. Do Not diss another systerm unless you have good reason too.

UH-HUH i think if we could bring back the good ol days when there wasn't any bashing going on ecxept for "hay dude your wrong, mario owns sonics ass" then everyone nowadays would'nt have anything to talk about. But system makes the gaming industry a little better i think. it puts ALOT more emotion in in than ever before, where people would be more interested into what goes on inside of the gameindustry ecxept for waiting for the output there give us.

To me i have no reason that i can see to buy an xbox. I MEAN it's trying to go ahead of its time but its realy now showing it off the good since it always brags on its powerful processors, wheres the power at i dont see a difference. everytime someone trys to back up why they bought an xbox the first thing that jumps out of there mouth is halo halo halo.OK. why else did you buy it metalgear? i dont think so. all im saying is the only reason that you really need to buy an xbox is if you really have faith in all of microsofts MONEY.

As for playstation it makes more money than probably both microsoft and nintendo put together with as much titles as they realease.playstation really shows they having the most graphics(XBOX) is not going to make you the most money. its the type of games that you give to the public, you have to include a variety of titles like playstation does more than anything. but playstation i think sacrifices alot of the graphics they could have in the games just to keep up a smooth frame rate, knowing that playstation has the weakest processors out of the bunch.playstation make alot of money with there titles but i really dont think that every game that is make has to have killing in it for it to be fun.

AND last but not least NINTENDO about the oldest gaming industry on the market at this point (WE'LL ALWAYS MISS YOU DREAMCAST). nintendo at this point SEPT. is really starting to ramp up to the speed that i should have been at in teh beggining with titles lauching every other month till this year is finised. I really dont see why nintendo (dispite the laggy lauches) isn't still number one. they may not have as many games as ps2 or xbox but playstation has been out for three years come this year, and xbox has a billion dollar back up system when it fails. nintendo has brought us the best gaming known to man, but everyone blocker all of that out when playstationX lauched for the first time it was all about 3d graphics from that point in time. which leaves me at the question WILL NINTENDO LEAVE THE HARDWARE INDUSTRY AND FOLLOW SEGA PATH?? we will soon see.


But to end this right now theres only one system out there that that is beating all three of those systems out at this point which is the gameboy advance.....oooooooo weeee......thats the system booyyiiieeee good old fashion 2-d graphics with a boost of next-generation graphics it just dont get better than that.(dont see my point pick up one and try playin golden sun 1 or 2, castlevania circle or harmony, wario or mario, sonis 1 or 2, mario kart, or any other great titles and see what people dont see anymore.

I totally agree with you, lost-in-SR-388, if there was no emotion then videogames would be just a robotic cycle, buy then play then buy then play. But a lot of people take their emotions way to serious, and it shouldn't be that way, games are supposed to be fun in general, people worry too much about what companies do rather than enjoying what the current consoles have to offer.

ok let me give you guys a more detail example.
remember when we played games back in tha day and you couldn't wait for the beggining credits to stop so you could just play the damn games. you'd see companies and shit but really you didnt really care about them. but now adays people dont take those things for granted. like me i now want to know who's making my games so ill know who and what to look foward to.

id say the most recognizable logos would be rares(awww there gone thats a shame) and hudson you know companies like that ............(sobbing over rares departure)

It has alwasy been human nature to judge with little or "0" example to prove or disprove somthing. Many of the Fanboys today are kids trying to immatate everyone else or the info companies spoon them. " Best Product!" They say," Most Advanced!" They say...And they simply buy into it. They are also influed by older sibblings that play games. Whatever they say can set somone up to like somthing becuase they do..Or hate something because they do.

You must realize that the video game fo-pa [frech? who knows...] is not what is used to be. Before the 32/64 bit years there were more fans that were more understanding and informed about things..Though there were fewer fanboys...still there were some. Back, when was said before, Mario vs Sonic was our biggest concern.

There is a new generation of gamers that are playing with us who that have been involved with Videogame much longer than they have. We will have to get used to them and info them as much as we can...


...If they fails after many attemps, they just fit under the certain jabbering jackass list of fanboys and would better off staring as a 'TEMPORARY ROLE" on the saprannos...wink wink. [ "The offer" and the" can't refuse" part..you know..Right?]
