i guess to start things off what was you're first retro gaming moment?

for me it was playing Super Mario Bros on the NES. that game was a bitch to play as a 4-5 year old. don't know how many times i would have died on the first level alone. i'm pretty sure that first goomba got me on the first time too. i owe all my gaming to that goomba. taught me the importance of timing jumps.

Yoshi's Island and Super Mario Bros. 3 is the foundation of my childhood. They are so amazing. I find it strange that somehow I ended up with games on my NES and SNES that were so amazing. I dont remember if I chose them or if mum and dad chose them but I ended up with some truely amazing games as a kid. Perhaps its fate.

Hmm. Does anyone remember Rad Gravity on NES? I think of it from time to time and it was pretty awesome, but I dont know anyone other than my brothers and i who have played it or even heard of it.
