Oh, haven't you heard? Nobody is concerned with global warming anymore. It's now about global cooling.

Now, instead of polar bears becoming impotent because of the heat, their genitalia have just fallen off from the extreme cold.

Seriously, though, northern half of Indiana already had snow. What the hell?

Global Warming.
Lol.
That's all I'll say about that.....I believe the scientists who say it's the natural cycle of our planet than those who say us mere mortals are breaking the way the planet acts.

I doubt we'll get snow....we got pretty good snow (by English standards) last year which was very awesome but 2 years in a row?...Not in England my friend.

I just find that quite ironic that what the scientist theorized, even though it's ridiculously more far-fetched, is more beliavble. The more we study, the more we realized how connected life is, why wouldn't the most advanced life-form have a bigger impact on the earth? I'm not saying humans are gonna destroy anything, but it's pretty reasonable that a lot of the things we do harm our environment. Eventually, the effects will be more evident.

This is supposed to be one of the worst winters ever btw--that's what all the forecasters are saying anyway.

Snake. Cold-blooded. Not a good idea. Not a good idea for me either, forget going north. It's cold enough right here. Haven't even bothered to stop and look at a thermometer because y'know... it's cold! Still above 32 here though, may have frozen once. It's been raining for a couple days now, which is just peachy.

Doesn't global warming mean global cooling? Idk frosty explained it somehow that it's apost to be colder.

Anyway i wanna move back to florida so i can be warm again. Even though I like the cold during night time, i wanna have fun during the day.

Maybe I'm taking this too obviously but shouldn't a global cooling period offset a global warming period?

Get's 0.1 degree warmer than average 1 year, ice melts; get's 0.1 degree cooler than average the next year, water freezes.

global warming is a term that describes the continuous rise in temperature overall. what causes it or how much we impact it is debatable, but the temperatures are rising. Average global surface temperatures have climbed significantly since 1850, when historical weather statistics were first recorded. However, that could theoretically cause temperatures to drop as well:

In quick summary, if enough cold, fresh water coming from the melting polar ice caps and the melting glaciers of Greenland flows into the northern Atlantic, it will shut down the Gulf Stream, which keeps Europe and northeastern North America warm. The worst-case scenario would be a full-blown return of the last ice age - in a period as short as 2 to 3 years from its onset - and the mid-case scenario would be a period like the "little ice age" of a few centuries ago that disrupted worldwide weather patterns leading to extremely harsh winters, droughts, worldwide desertification, crop failures, and wars around the world.

Can we take Al Gore's Nobel Prize away now?

And it was cold here in Florida this morning. 54.

Somewhere in the world weather records will be broken, but you cannot use them as a case for or against global warming. Don't confuse local weather variability with climate change.
