I prefer Lyndis also her animations as a upgraded Lord are awesome especially her critical hit

Hector pwn. He is the strongest Lord, and a really, really good fighter. He has been one of my best units everytime I started a new game. And his sword is HUGE when he's a Great Lord.

Hector is the best, he does incredible damage and can take hits, I wouldn't recommend Eliwood though in the end hes not that good onyl average.

Hector kicks ass, Lyn gets insane criticals and I its even better when you give her a bow to attack from afar.
