What is wrong with Nintendo... Demo disks are used to sell systems... People play them at there local stores... So why isn't Nintendo at least including one movie of the Legend or Zelda. That would sell there system and generate lots of interest in stores...

Granted the rest of the Demo is great...

But why would you not include movies/demo's of your systems biggest titles with mass appeal.... IE: RE4 and LOZ

Because LoZ is far off. We don't even know if it will be released early or late '05. Maybe Capcom doesn't want RE4 demoed.
Anyways, Paper Mario 2 and Donkey Konga demoes are good enough.

True but form a marketing stand point those should be in there...

Think about it... Teenager (casual gamer) walks into Best Buy playing demos... He sees cool Halo 2 demo and then looks at the gamecube demos and sees... Kiddy games... Even though LOZ and RE4 probably would have grabbed his interest.

Still I'm happy about Paper MArio 2... I just wish Nintendo would start appealing a little to the casual gamer and start taking up part of Sony's market... Which seems like 80 percent anymore...

I don't know if your Pro-nintendo or against them.

Think about it. Yes it would help, but LOZ is as Shayde said...to far off. Plus, everyone should have seen it by now, its been in every game magazine. RE 4...thats capcom's game so maybe they don't want it out on a demo disc.
There bigger games are already being advertised for. Plus Nintendo has already begun advertising for RE 4....so I'm content for now

Nights, is there a Halo2 demo yet? GT4? GTA4? So why should there be a demo of games that are to be released after those I listed are?

They should have a movie of both RE4 and LOZ. They might be far off, but it'll grab the attention of many gamers who see Nintendo and say "teh kiddy." Not to mention Nintendo should be hyping the hell out of LOZ, it could, and really should, be there biggest game this generation, they'd be fools not to.

I was rather happy though, when I was in EBGames and I was showing my dad WindWaker beause he wasnts a new game and the attendant came right over with some LOZ pictures, asking if I knew, i laughed and told him the movie was a quicklaunch on my start menu, but it's nice to know the word is spreading, Nintendo needs to start the hype wagon now though, and amp it up come 2005.

I have to admit that I'd like to try out Donky Konga, just to see what it's like. I'd much rather try Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat, but they've only got it as a movie. :(

I've got to agree. I've went to displays and found the controllers broken on a few occasions. I hate controller abuse (and I hate it when people peck keyboard keys unnecessarily hard).

The Drums will ge owned within a couple of weeks guarenteed

haha, poor Drums...cuz most controllers in stores get broken and rubber gets ripped off them.

but the reason they arent showing LOZ is because it isnt coming anytime soon (like stated before)...late 2005 or even bumped to the Revolution (like i predicted).
RE4 is still far off being released mostly likely in late Jan.

Nintendo is smart to annouce and show games they can sell sooner than later...thats just smart business...they can't demo mature games they dont have now unfortunately.

I don't understand how you could really have a demo of an RPG ... it wouldn't really work.

I'm glad they have Paper Mario 2 on their.

Yes, i really wanted a job at EB or Gamestop, and then i would have showed everyone everything about gamecube. Too bad my mom was lazy and didn't let me return the application in time. I was so sad...

Wheres the metroid prime 2 demo...any way, im planning on trying paper mario but... the only store in the closest town that has this store is Walmart or Sams (sams always gets different discs for some reason) and little kids ruin the walmart one...they are on like thier 3rd controller since the system release while the one at sams is still top shape and i think its the first one (perks of being a member only store i guess=less little kids fucking around).

I plan on trying paper mario 2 and pikmin 2. Donkey Konga is a maybe if the drums are even put out...at walmart thats a big maybe.

Donkey Konga > You.

Even though I felt like an ass clapping my hands in Toys r Us I still had a blast. My mom even liked it. I'm getting it for Christmas :).

I was looking at Donkey Konga at EB and I was confused by what the guy said. He didn't make it clear if at $50 it comes with the drums or you pay $50 along with $35 with the drums making it a total of $85.

I don't remember if the drums are supposed to come with the game or not, but I'd be sort of surprised if Nintendo expected us to pay so much just to play this. Previous games that required extra devices have come with those devices in the box, like the Rumble Pack that came with Star Fox 64 or the 64GB Pack that came with Pokemon Stadium. I'm hoping they come together, because I'd hate to buy the drum on the side only to see it used by two games.

Shayde
08-18-2004, 05:16 PM
I'm pretty sure they come together.

Glenn2K4

the game + a pair of the drums comes with the $50 sticker price.
you pay addition for more drums.

Vishus
08-19-2004, 03:56 AM
I don't care if they are strapped together or not. I care if the price is $50 with a drum set that comes already with it or if its an additional $35 for drums along with $50 for the game making it $85.

I also hope for the other game they still have the drum deal just in case I don't get the first drum game that comes out and that if you buy the other game something else comes with it instead (thats what I hope). That would be dang awesome.
