Xbox, GameCube, or PS2?

I disagree with your friends. The Dreamcast is a great system to own, plus they're not that expensive, and you can pick up one for fairly cheap.

Most importantly however is that the fact there's many good game out for it, despite it died so soon.

I got my Dreamcast for $50 with a free copy of SegaGT. haha, Sega always has to give that series away.

I paid $50 CDN for mine, and I got Sonic Adventure and 1 controller with it.

Pretty good deal, I'd say, I pay next to nothing for the game. ($10-15CDN), so it was a good investment.
