New Madden Already?

<B>EB Games</B> has amazingly already begun accepting pre-orders for <i>"Madden 2006"</i>, despite the fact the game doesn't even exist yet; they are selling the game for PlayStation 2 and Xbox for $49.99. Additionally, <B>Gamestop</B> is offering the title for all major platforms for the same price.

This is certainly a prime example of "jumping the gun". NintendoNow advises gamers to "hurry" before the er, nonexistent copies of <i>Madden 2006</i> "sell out."

Madden is one of those rare titles capable of pulling this off.

I coudl've swore I read an article on IGN that said John Madden's contract with EA was up, and it wasn't going to be renewed.

IGN is also reporting that you can preorder Madden 2006, just like NintendoNow. Maybe they did renew the contract.
