Freddy VS Jason VS Ash (Yes ... another VS movie)

With the success of New Line's Freddy vs. Jason, followed by Fox's Alien vs. Predator, another franchise looks to be headed into the fray.

The Hollywood Reporter says New Line is in talks with director/producer Sam Raimi ("Spider-Man" franchise) for the much-rumored Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash. In the proposed sequel, Freddy ("A Nightmare on Elm Street") and Jason ("Friday the 13th") would go up against Ash, the cynical anti-hero survivor of Raimi's "Evil Dead" trilogy, which also includes Army of Darkness.

Bruce Campbell played the character in the trilogy and would play him again if the deal were to close. Although Raimi would not direct, he holds rights to the "Evil Dead" franchise. The trade adds that if a deal isn't made, the studio is determined to extend the franchise by introducing a new character or pitting Freddy and Jason against each other again.


I thought Freddy VS Jason was alright, I hope this one is actually scary.

Ash and Freddy in a battle of quick wits would be simply hilarious. Not sure about the teaming up bit but I could see Ash and Freddy trading one liners against Jason.

Seriously putting Ash in between them would make it more hilarious than anything.

I see the story being Freddy and Jason are fighting back and forth and stumble into Ash who would get upset and start kicking ass. I hope they don't kill Ash cause Ash can't come back to life like the other two. On the other hand I might be a way to end Ashes character in this type of movie. It would suck but more than likely what will happen.

Freddy dosen't fit into the equation very well. Jason vs Ash could work though, seeing as Ash battles the undead and Jason is a zombie. Don't want Freddy in it though :(
