I saw Bill Clinton on the Daily Show with John Stewart. It reminded me why I liked the man so much. He is such a fantastic speaker and he made a lot of sense. One of the things that was discussed was that the Republicans are trying to discredit Kerrys record because like Clinton, Bush was also a draft dodger. Another was how politics in general have gotten so dirty. For anybody that liked Clinton, this was a definate must see.

I really didnt mean to use that term. But he did the same thing Clinton did by going to college. He joined the National Guard instead of the army. Im not in any way saying that thats dishonerable, imk just saying he avoided going to veitnam.

You cant be serious. he avoided combat by joining the military? It's a little bit different the leaving the country to protest America in London (which Clinton did). Btw, the national guard IS the army, so your sentence doesnt make much sense. You are aware that large portions of the national guard were called up, and at any time his unit could have been called to Vietnam?

Anyway, did anyone else watch the daily show? Since I didnt, I would like to know exactly what phrasing Clinton used in comparing Bush to himself. That man has balls of steel, I swear, no dirty deed would make him blush.

Actually he reffered to both Bush and Cheny. I belive the term he use was "Well they(Bush Cheny) were hawks just like me so the fact that John Kerry doesnt make them look good when the topic of military service comes up. Thats why they (again Bush Cheny) were so quite when those adds were running (swift boat veterns for truth). He went to talk about how the Democratic party doesnt respond enough when negative adds run. Like the four out of five adds ran and endorsed by the president were completly negative and attacked John Kerry. Its nice to have "balls of steel" it just doesnt help when you use em for the right thing at the wrong time in the wrong place if ya know what i mean.
