The new Rare characters

On Rare's new background they have some characters I've never seen before. Obviously these are all new games! (A big woohoo for Xbox owners).

There's this guy who looks like a cat (????) or something with a big gun. And an evil looking dog on the top left.

Seems promising!

If Rare's promising 5 titles in the next 2 years I think it'll be:

Perfect Dark (I like her new look)
Kameo
The Cat with the gun
The Evil Dog
Banjo-Boxo! (yes, Rare will be developing my game)

On GBA I'm sure they'll release Sabre Wulf and Banjo 3 still.

I'd imagine that Banjo Xbox would have many changes from the 64 games... I mean if they wanna have the mature Xbox look which MS aims at then Banjo will be a rude bastard!

Unless you patent your idea, which I doubt you will because it costs about 2 grand, Microsoft can take your idea and use it. If you try to sue, then they could sue YOU for fruad ( or whatever they call it) because you never had legal rights to Banjo-Boxo in the first place.

Killer Instinct was the only one that actually sold a lot.
PD sold a mil or two, not sure bout banjo
but the others are just one game franchises.

Kameo's not even out yet Killer Instinct Gold sold extremely well for N64, and Perfect Dark sold over a million copies; Banjo-Kazooie sold very well, but Banjo-Tooie didn't sell quite as well. Conker's Bad Fur Day did not sell well at all (despite being the best game ever on N64) simply because it came out at the very end of the N64 life-cycle, plus the PS2 had already come out.

So here's my theory; games made by Rare sold well between 1996-1999 for N64, and in 2000 not as good- although Perfect Dark did sell over a million copies -- Perfect Dark, Banjo-Tooie, and CBFD all came out in 2000, the same year PS2 came out (March 2000 in Japan, October 2000 in North America)...

hey, adrian, about conker's other BFD, so far it aint gonna happen. the sales were so bad that the original development team for the game broke up. they MIGHT get back together, i dont know

They'll definitely make a Conker. Have you seen the Rare video? Conker's the focus of the whole thing.

I bet if nintendo had pushed them, or done something else, they would have made more games, (well, maybe.) I wonder why they're managing to make so many in the near future for xbox, yet they were so slow with others?

Perfect Dark: it may sell well.

I personally think no one will buy Rare games from Msoft.
