Ill start with my rebulican example first:
Some idiot celbrity that was on Fear Factor made the statement that he wants a president who makes a decision based soley on his love for god and only do what the savior Jesus Christ wants. Im sry but the whole nation isnt Christian or Catholic and even though I am, i dont want politics being decided by some religious extremist. Thats fine if that how you want to run your life, but not how your run the largest most powerful nation in the world.

As for a democrat celebrity idiot where do i begin. There are so many foolish idealistic, outspoken democrats that it makes me sick. I think Republicans are lucky cause you dont have as many idiotic celebs coming out and saying stupid things to embarass you and your party. There is a reason I call myself a new age democrat. Part of it is because unlike so many democrats i do not accept celebs coming out in force and telling ppl how to vote. If anybody is wondering why i picked out a republican comment and not a democrat comment, it is because there are way to many democrat comments to chose from. Does anybody agree?

A) What's a "celbrity" ?

B) You can't make an argument and then not post quotes to back it up. That's just being dickish.

Yeah, those Hollywood celebrities like Arnold Schwarzenegger should just shut up about politics. :D

...interesting theory, Macca.

Regardless if there are "too many quotes".. he can still list one or two. Otherwise his argument is flawed, and is nothing more than a personal attack.

Celebrities have the right to make their opinions heard just as anyone else. Why should they be quiet? The fact that they have the money to do so on a very broad basis comes in handy here.

Is it wrong for Howard Stern to speak out against the FCC and Bush? Perhaps other celebrities also feel their civil rights are being eroded and want to exercise their First Amendment rights to express their opinions.

Doesn't freedom suck?

Hold your nose:

Basically a bunch of whiners who hate that there are liberal celebrities who speak their minds, some only when they're asked.

No, a celebrity's opinion is not worth more than anyone elses. But I don't think the other extreme is true- that their opinions are so worthless that they should shut their mouths when asked.

Maybee so. Im glad he belives in god and im glad that hes has such dedication as to devote his entire life to him. But saying that the president should make every decision exactly how god would want is a very fanatical thing to say. Hes not nearly as bad as those morons from the 700 club. The 700 club is the biggest most fanatical group of religious hipocits that i have ever seen.

They are hipocrits because they live by a faith that isnt supposed to judge others. There is nothing in the bible that says being gay is wrong. Yet Pat Robertson sits up there and says how big of a sinner gays are. THAT is judgeing people. If he was a real Christian he would judge others on who they chose to have a relationship with. As for the celebrity, im trying to find his name.
