I must say, I was taken aback. I was not expecting something that good from him, that's the honest truth. Last night was the first time in 4 years that one of his speeches actually made a good impression on me. Most of what he promised to do sounds great...although I'm still anxious to hear how he plans to do it. But until last night I was 100% sure I was voting for Kerry. Now I'm still leaning towards Kerry, but I'm not 100% anymore. I think the deciding factor is going to be their debates. If Bush can face off against Kerry in person and handles himself well enough, and if he convinces me that he really has a plan to do all he promised to, I may change my mind.
What did everyone else think?

Definetly one of his better speeches.

Should be more on about their records rather than who wins a freaking stupid debate!

^Oh well excuse me if I care more about what their plans are for our country's future than what they did or didn't do in the past. Sure it's important to some extent, but I think what's more important is the direction the winner is going to lead our country in. I'm so sick of all the stupid mindless character bashing. "Oh, Bush didn't serve in Vietman." "Oh, Kerry voted against something and then changed his mind." You know what I have to say about all that? I DON'T GIVE A SHIT. If it's ignorant, forgive me.

Not militarily or flip-floping but voting records and deeds they had done.
Kerry voted against many important things that the nation needed like defense for 20 years.

^Ok, I'm going to be blunt. I don't really know you well, nor do I have any problem with you, and I'd like to keep it that way. I don't feel like debating this, I don't like having what I do questioned. I feel I'm intelligent enough to decide what's right on my own, and I hope you can understand where I'm coming from. So let's just agree to disagree.

Oh no problem not my idea to debate it either. I posted a harsh message not intended to be directly involved with you. I just find too many people wait towards the debate and base their vote on who they think won that debate and not on the facts and history behind the person.
I don't like having what I do questioned.
I understand I don't either.
I feel I'm intelligent enough to decide what's right on my own, and I hope you can understand where I'm coming from.
I know where your coming from no disrespect.
