Ouch! How do you know if you've broken your toe? Anyone? And do you know how they fix it? I think I broke one of my toes tonight....

hell ya. bout a 3 years ago i was running outside barefooted and my middle toe hit a fuckin iron pipe stickin out the ground. I fell on the ground did bout 3 rows and hollered. When i looked at that mug was purple and num. When i walked felt like i had a missing toe. And Christmas of 2001 i was helping ma grandma getting a frozen turkey out the icebox and that bitch slip and fell on the same damn toe.:eek: Lucky the toe never broke.

Well, to fix it, the doctor for grab ahold of your toe...and pop it back into place. It'll hurt a lot, but in the end, it's worth it.

not necessarily. Thats mainly for dislocations, not breaks. Breaks of the bone, for the most part, are adjusted and put in a splint/cast.

Yes, but it depends which toe is broken. Some toes they can't put in splints.

Weird, my doctor must be an idiot then. I broke my big toe last summer, my doctor said he couldn't put it in a splint so he popped it back to where it should go and said that that should set the bone back into place. Then he just left it like that.

ah, yes that's becuse you made a clean break
I basicaly crushed mine, so not a whole lot you can snap into place.
Your doc isn't retarded, we just had different accicdents.

This happened to one of my best friends, his was black till the ankle and stuff, if it's swollen and hurts like crap and it colored it probably broken, just tape it up
