I've noticed there's quite a bit of discussion in this forum about Japanese cars, but are any of y'all into European cars? There aren't many Euro brands I dislike. My absolute favorite brand is Volkswagen. I drive a 2002 Golf, and after nearly two years I still love it as much as the day I bought it. To me there's just nothing like the feel of a German car. What do you guys think about German, British, French, and Italian cars?

Yeah I sat in a Mercedes while my parents test drove one and it was pretty cool.

Other then the exotic super cars, Most of the German car manurfactures make cars for the everyday commute. They are extreamly nice in my opinion. The Auddi TT Quatro, the S4, and M3 are all sweet cars. But they are just too expensive. If I wanted a regular car (not one to mod) A GTI or a 1.8 T would be seet.

I like Audi, I like most Beemers.

Honestly, if it isn't in the six figures, I really don't want it. I'm happy with my american and jap cars.

I'd LOVE to have a V6 Jetta, Black on black, with tinted windows, and 18's. Yeah, i've thought about it a little.

;p

^ Nice. I love my Mark IV Golf, but I'd also love to have either one of the new Mark Vs, or an Audi A3. I like BMWs, but I'm not really a fan of Chris Bangle's image makeover that BMW has suffered.

If I were not into modding cars I would own a Jetta or something similar. But I do mod cars and I think a Jetta and GTI's are great but I would never mod a fwd car.

heheh, I love that name "Jetta" such a perfect name for what it is.

What about an all wheel drive car?

Awd german car would be nice, but the only ones they make are the s4 and Quattro. Both of those are just a little out of my price range.

^ Volkswagen offers AWD on many of its cars, including the new Golf R32. They call it "4Motion."
