Ultimate GameCube Vs. Xbox Debate Details

During the summer I revealed plans for an end all series of GameCube v. Xbox debates on NintendoNow. Originally I had planned for it to be a 2 on 2 debate with Viper & DLX representing the GC team and Adam & Prince representing the Xbox team. I had a poll set up in General Gaming on the debate and the overwhelming majority of you were all for it.

While the other three quickly agreed to the debate, Prince never showed up. So I dediced to look for a replacement for the Xbox team. I finally had the perfect idea for the new Xbox team. After long discussions, planning, and waiting, I finally inked a deal with this new Xbox team a couple months ago. Still waiting on a few uncertain issues to be finalized, I decided to postpone a public announcement to make sure NintendoNow could do what we promised.

Well now it is time to unveil to you all the plans for what will be a grand debate on NintendoNow. Note that more details will we discussed as the event draws nearer. This is just a quick heads up for you all:


The Ultimate GameCube Vs. Xbox debate will be tag team style.
It will pit a tag team of NintendoNow editors versus the mysterious Xbox challengers.
It will span the course of 3 rounds each taking a couple of days.
Each round will present different hot issues and topics related to Nintendo and Microsoft's consoles and plans.
You'll be able to watch the debates live in our specialized Great Debate Board (possibly other locations?)
There will be a referee announced to keep things moderated.
Expect this to live up to it's name as the ultimate GC vs. Xbox debate. It will be an exciting, no holds barred, wrestling-style battle. Anything can happen!
The event will take place this winter.
And finally, who is Nintendo Now's worthy opponent???

Oh there's plenty. It's just those were the first two staff members I picked to do this feature. It may change though. You'll just have to wait and see.
