I won't get into much, but corvettes are overpriced, and would easily be taken down by a jap car with the $$$ difference placed in mods and teh like. Well get into this more in the "heated" debate though...

Wait until the corvette gets mods. Once it has been tuned properly there really is no replacment for displacemnt. A Vette can be easily be made to handle good. Just because it cant do it very well stock does not mean it can not be fixed with mods.

Actually the handling has been vastly changed for the C6 series. I've got a video of a stock C6 drifting like it was on rails.

I can't wait to see what the Z06 can do and then the Blue Devil will just eat it all.

Excuse me, the WR1 is 55K but the base STi can't compete and would need 20k in mods anyway.

That's a WR1 Sti...Only made 1500 of them. They have better suspension, and look nicer...Got like 50+ extra HP.

Regular STi's are 30k. I'm literally about to buy one...I know.

It's interesting that many people I know that have built an engine usually end up as a catostrophic failure. You can have all the forged pistons, connecting rods and top of the line hardware. But if you cant tune worth a damn your going to get detonation, and it doesnt matter how much you spend on an eninge. Detonation will destroy it. Forged or not.


My talon has only left me straneded once. Right now the only problem I have with it is leaky valve seals that causes it to burn oil when I shift gears. I'm saving up to buy a ported head from SBR. By spring time the car will be awesome.

It seems to me that yankee's seem to buy the engine first, before any other thing and put that in the car...or they do the dumbest fucking thing you can imagine and put NOS on a stock engine and they claim they have a race car. I agree with you. What are you argueing with me about? My Talon does not have nitrous on it. My old Eclipse did and it was a blast to drive around in. I never had any problems with it (It was a Nitrous Express kit not a NOS kit btw) My "new" car is pretty decently modded, the problem is that I have leaky compressor by pass valve and cant hold boost past 10 psi (well it can but it not very well) , and its a big bottle neck for me right now running the bigger turbo
