The Viper Appreciation Thread

Well, since Yamiyuuki got one I think its only time that someone else does. The second appreciation thread is for Viper, yea man :)

For those who did not know, Viper used to be a super mod at the old NintendoFire forums but dissapeared shortly afterwards. He's back now ... and props to him.

He's also the only person on the boards who is married (I beleive).

I will not be converted over to a game system that brags about how kick ass its graphics are and then hangs you out to dry on gameplay (Tao Feng!!!). I'll give Halo its due respect for having both but not enough of its games can do that. It's funny when people play an x-box game and are so amazed by the graphics, they don't realize the game sucks until the 3rd level. I see used X-box games every where. People play them for a little then take them back or sell them. Nintendo owners do not so that near as much because the games are worth keeping.

You shouldn't just look at the first party games (which for the exception of a couple games out right now, are crap), you also have to include third party games - which XBox has the best version of 9/10 times, with updated graphics, custom soundtracks, Dolby Digital 5.1, extra levels/features, and of course, the online play.

You see more XBox games because people buy more XBox games as compaired to GCN games. Seriously, I went into GameStop a couple weeks ago and all of the new GCN games fit easily into two racks, whereas the XBox ones took-up 3 racks.

He used to do the same thing to me too Colin. On both AIM and MSN, but I haven't seen him sign-on in weeks.

The only feature that makes me want to get an XBox is XBox Live, the rest of the stuff I could either get on Gamecube, or just play at my friends' houses.

Well yeah I can easily drive the whole 3 minutes to my cousins house to play their XBox that has XBox Live but I like having my own in my room to play whenever I want.

You guys are almost gonna make me ask for a group hug*sniff*. 'cept for I'm not sure where some of you have been. j/k Most appreciated fellas, honestly. Oh and Phanty, it's quality, not quantity. All that stuff is great, but if the games blows, who gives a rats ass if it blew in Dolby Digital 5.1 or had the extra level to an already craptacular game. The point is, it lacks the immersion you get from Nintendo. It makes you neglect the dog, forget to take out the trash, wake up the following morning with the "A" button imptinted on your face. That's the Nintendo difference.
