<P><STRONG>IGN</STRONG> received word from <STRONG>Electronic Arts </STRONG>yesterday that <A href="http://www.nintendonow.com/games.php?id=435">The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age</A> will support full cooperative play. Two-player co-op play can be toggled on/off at will through the in-game options menu, and allows the second player to take control of Idrial, Ioden and Hadhod, leaving player one in control of Morwen, Elegost and Barethor.</P>
<P><EM>Third Age</EM> is slated to ship in early November for GameCube.</P>
