And, holy nuts of the underworld, it's fvcking pretty. I watched football all day yesterday on a FAT 60in. WideScreen T.V. in HDef, and I nutted the entire time.
Seriously though, it is so crisp, clear, and perfect even just watching normal digital channels now (Which Iat one time were amazing) is almost unbearable.
Anywho...When I get up the nerve to actually buy something, I'll get a FlatScreen HD-Ready T.V. for my room, but until that day, and that day may never come, I'll watch downstair or in my parents room and such.
PWN.

^ Sweet man. I'm pimping the basic cable here on campus...lol.
But I did just get a 24" Flat Screen Sony VEGA (or WEGA, whichever) TV for my dorm room. Dat's cool.

You need an upgrade, Viper!
Then again, I'm sure you have more important things to spend your income on, else you would have already. I'm sure supporting a family is tough, albeit gratifying.

We don't watch much TV and what little we do, a small TV does fine. I don't need a 60" TV for Jeopardy.
i have a 24 incher.....the tv is quite big too ;)

Good point. ;) Trebek really doesn't need to be spread across a sixty-inch screen...that might be a bit scary, in fact.
Has Ken Jennings lost yet? I haven't been watching since I came to college; I know he's due to go around October or so, so I figure he's still lingering around.

i mostly use it for movie veiwing, and gaming on it is quite nice as well. Seeing Metriod Prime in HD is simply orgasmic...AS well as any other game for that matter.

Uhh... Like 3.something Gigahertz, 2 gigs of ram (Kinda overboard), some abnormally large video card I'll never use, and a bunch of other numbers that don't mean anything to me.

Did you buy that yourself or were you unnecessarily spoiled by a relative? :-P

Awesome. :D I wouldn't mind a huge tv, but unfortunately, when watching my grandmother's.. Which is a mere 42", and even at a distance, I get headaches.
Main tv: 32" Flat
My tv: 19"
My monitor: 20" (I was going to get a reg. 17", but it was actually cheaper for me to get the 20" o_O)
Other monitor: (I have 2 computers next to each other on my desk hooked up) 17"
-Both monitors are flat panel-
Usually, I use one for entertainment (has a/v hookups, so I have my VCR and sometimes hook my consoles up to it) and the other for regular browsing/PC gaming.

I remember when you were bitchin' about money problems, something to the tune of "woe is me, I can't drive both of my cars around."
Hoo-whee how the tables have turned.

Oh, my friend, I have the sound to back it up. Bose Dolby 5.1 Surrond Sound speakers, and a monster ass sub. Sub freaking shakes the house when it is turned up.
And jushiko, eat shit. My dad lost his job, and I sold my car. I've saved up money for a LONG time, and I'm finally about to get a new car for myself.
