PMG1!?1/1!!!!!! You guys are teh cool shit! Fuck Harry Pooter!! ROFLMAO!

Damn, I'm 18 years old and I love the fucking books. I don't give a shit if they are kids books.

Zeldachick, I'm guessing it will probably be Dumbledore. It's his time to go. Voldemort will probably kick his ass.

Oh and Kliq, stop trying to act grown up. You know you've read all of the books, twice. And you know you have a Harry Potter poster hanging up on your wall. Lol.

Iv been noticing suble hints in the books that dumbledores getting older and weaker, but he still kicked ass while fighting Voldemort at the ministry of magic in the fifth book. But it would creat some intresting drama within the school. My best guesses at this point are:
Hagrid-Only because his character is just starting to anoy me
Dumbledore-becuase as previoiusly mentioned
Lupin- in the fouth book wne Voldie was brought back he gabe womrtail a silver hand. And everyone knows Silver is deadly to werewolves.

No cussing in thread titles. wrong forum, etc.

On a side note. Harry Potter rules. I guarantee that those who are dissing it haven't read any of them. They may be "kid" books but they fucking rule.

Why are people surprised by this? The past two books have had people die so why are you all shocked because she's making the same for this book.

Hisham
10-10-2004, 09:27 PM
Yep, Harry Potter owns. The first 2 books were okay, but the 3-5th book have a more of a teen feel to them so as long as it keeps up with this pace, I'll be happy.

And I bet Lupin is gonna die.

Sirius died in the 5th book. So Lupin is the only person living that was a close friend to Harry's dad. So it will be all the more tragic when he dies.

You're probably one of those kids who thinks he's too cool for cartoons too.

Ya... BlurpleMonky is too cool for 'kids' things. Seriously though... you're probably the coolest kid I've ever met. I mean, you said Harry Potter was GAY! OMG PWN!

Stupid little queer. I can just see you and your little 13 year old friends sitting around making fun of Harry Potter thinking you are the coolest shit in the world. Wait... hold on. Nevermind, you ARE the coolest shit in the world. I forgot all 8th graders are the coolest fuckers in the world.

Man, I hate little fucks like you. You think you're cool or funny because you said it was the last over 20 page book you read. Let me tell you, that doesn't make you cool nor funny. It makes you a fucking dumbass loser. Society is so fucked up. Little 13 dipshits have to care so much for how cool they are. Just admit it you little boner, you read Harry Potter and you enjoyed it. In fact, I'm willing to bet that you have every single Harry Potter book and are eagerly anticipating the release of the 6th book. You are just too much of a self concious, social conforming little dipshit to admit it.

BlurpleMonkey are you just a poser or retarded?

I'm also fed up with all the shit people keep saying about Harry Potter just because they wanna be cool. I read the books, enjoyed them and I'm proud of it.

Was I the only one who wasn't really affected by

Sirius dying? I mean I seriously could care less whether he died or not. Personally I think Rowling did a terrible job of characterization on his character because only Harry seemed to be the one giving a shit about Sirius beefing it.

I should probably tease my sister with this. She reads them. I don't. I prefer Stephen King's Dark Tower saga.

You do know Rowlings is a she? Not a he.

I have to say they were pretty good. Some elements in the book are annoying and too childish in a way. But over all they are good books and the story in it self is very solid. And also the characters act more like real people than a lot of regular books about regular people.
Rowlings remembers how kids think and acts better than most authors today.

Jon

Plebben, I agree. Some parts are childish and annoying, but as a whole the books are excellent.

Orcus, I agree with not feeling bad when Sirius died. I didn't really feel a connection to his character like I do with others.

Pro A. I fucking love the Dark Tower Series. Best books ever made. I finished Book 7 a couple weeks ago. Have you read it yet?

Speaking about feeling a connection with characters... I actualy cried twice while reading the last Dark Tower book. One of the best pieces of literature ever written.

The "his" was a reference to the character in the spoiler, not Rowlings.

Yeah, I read it. Book seven was about as good as I suppose it could have been. The ending was on the right note, but the last three books should have been written with that same separation of time. For me, Wizard and Glass was the pinnacle of the DT saga.

Wizard and Glass was probably my favorite as well, except for the last. I don't really like to choose which books were better though because, for one, they are all excellent books, and secondly Stephen King considers all seven books as one giant volume and as a whole, the book[s] is excellent.

Yeah I know. When I said 'his character' I was referring to Sirius' character. I could see how that would be confused though.

EDIT by Sandman - You just revealed your spoiler!!!
