What N64 ports would you like to see on DS?

Me ... I'd like:

Donkey Kong 64
Super Smash Bros.
Banjo-Kazooie
Banjo-Tooie

well, personally, i would love them to make a brand new smash bros. for the ds.

no offence to ur thread, but fuck the ports. if they made brand new games then it (being the games and the DS) would do even better.

^It could be co-op...you and...um...sheik maybe, or zelda...she could have magic when she's a kid, and just plain kick ass when she's a adult, like off of ssbm.

yeh. that could work. but i dont think theyll ever have multiplayer on zelda (except for 4 swords which was specifically made for multiplayer). if they do have it, it wont be for a while because they wouldnt want to ruin such a great fanchise. u know wat i mean

Kinda like 4swords, but in 3d and in OoT. And instead of playing as all four links in single player, you could just play the normal OoT.

NO PORTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Remakes or Sequals.

Michael
10-09-2004, 06:21 PM
Sequals make up the industry...that would be suicide, but I really want Call of Duty on this system....it could simply pwn all multiplayer games, period...

^ WTF are you talking about? I said i want sequals... just no ports.

Michael
10-09-2004, 06:36 PM
It sounds like you said No ports, remakes or sequels...

Well buy the way I was screaming no ports and the calm way I said Remakes and sequals i figured that people would understnad Ports = No, Remakes + Sequals = Yes.

Sorry if i caused confusion.

Michael

It kinda felt like you meant NO PORTS...or remakes or sequel...like you really were just against ports period, but you didn't want the other 2 either, but you were just indifferent...ok, no more confusion...still want call of duty...I'm still think of all the ways it can play.

i dont mind ports as long as they expand it as much as Mario 64 has been expanded.

I want SSB(6 or 8 player perhaps?)
Donkey Kong 64
Goldeneye
Banjo Kazooie
Paper Mario
San Francisco Rush series

Ok people. First Person Shooters aren't gonna work on the DS. So don't expect Goldeneye or Perfect Dark or anything. Look at the buttons on the DS. How are you gonna control movement, aiming, crouching, firing, and everything else on a D-pad, four buttons, and two shoulder pads?

C'mon guys, think.

Hunters is like the original DOOM. You can't aim up or down. It's more like a first person platformer if you think about it.

^ if you use the stylus you can...i think...

Gopherchux

you cant use the stylus and the buttons at the same time.

Unless you have three hands.

i personally hope theres no ports, but any remakes (zero mission style) or new games in the series (not necessarily sequels) would be cool.

Perfect Dark controls on the DS (as made up by me (edit:: and a page late no less!)):
Movement: D-Pad
Looking: Screen
Shoot: L
Reload: Double tap the screen
Aim: R
Use: B
Weapon Change Forwards: B
Weapon Change Backwards: B+L
Weapon Select Menu: Hold B and tap the screen
Alternate Fire: X
Crouch: A
These would be customizable, of course.

I think you'll find that the DS is more than capable of handling FPS controls.

With that said, I wish they'd port Mario 64 over.
Oh look, my wish came true.

But other than that I'd like to see:
Jet Force Gemini
Goldeneye
Perfect Dark
Banjo Kazooie (with those secret areas unlocked)
Banjo Tooie
Conker's Bad Fur Day

...Hey, those are all Rare games!

But oh, also Snowboard Kids 1 & 2!

And as for non-N64 ports/remakes/whatever, the dual screen would work well with another Mario Kart Double Dash game.
It would be used as a mirror for aiming or whatever.

BLAH!!!
I'm going to stop now!
