I Decided to post this because this is meaningfull to me and i think i should share it with those of you willing to listen.

Long Ago, before i was born, My Father was a U.S. Marine. My Father was there the day Terrorrists bombed Beirut. That day many american soldiers died, some of them were his friends, whom he watched perish before his very eyes. Theankfully,My father was lucky enough to have survived this brutal attack.

For 3 Weeks did my mother wait Anxioously for my Fathers Return, but to no avail. She received no news on My Fathers condition, for he had apparently dissapeared after the bombing.

Lucky enough for my father, he was sent to a Base In Germany where he was later cleared to return home. Thinking back on that, I Realize how lucky i am to be alive and well, and above all else it makes me appreciate what many of our troops throughout the many conflicts America has particpated in died for: Our Freedom.

Earlier this month, Something truly historic happened, After many days of harsh combat and loss of life, Saddam Husseins Regime was brought to a sudden end. Many of our American Soldiers Died to bring peace to the poor Iraqi People, and To Defend our freedom, so that you and your family may live in Peace without the fear of Terrorrists and Evil Tyrants Like Saddam to threaten our way of life. For this reason, it is Important that we all show support of our troops. There not carrying 150 Pounds of Clothes and Ammunition, and there not dying so a bunch of you Dumbasses can protest about the war.

Let us all Appreciate what there fighting for, And appreciate the freedom many men have fought hard to grant you. Thank you for listening to my Story. Good Day.

"there not dying so a bunch of you Dumbasses can protest about the war."

I thought that's exactly what they were fighting for? You know, for our freedom? I'm pretty sure they weren't fighting for a totalitarian state...

240(1) soliders on WATCH duty were Killed by a terrorist from Beirut, Lebanon endoresed by Iran. (I might add, this is one of the reasons other than the taken American hostages in Iran, that R.Reagan got into the Iran/Iraq war.)

There is a reason America went to Iraqi, and don`t anyone give me no shit about "THE OIL"
We got so much shit better than that crap its absurd.

The only reason their protesting is because there being paid, its their job to Protest. If they wanted to save the Iraqi children they would have done it 12 years ago and before Bush talked about Regime change in Iraq.

As opposed to a brain-washed fascist?

Are you suggesting that they're not fighting for our freedom to let us disagree with them? What are they fighting for? A state where everyone blindly supports their leader?

no, they are fighting for the right for them to protest, but they should support the troops who are fighting for them even if they disagree with the leader. They don't have to support anything, but it would be a nice thing to support our troops that are over there fighting and dying for their right to disagree

If they're fighting for my right to disagree, then they're wasting their time. I've always had that right and it was never threatened.
