Pat Patterson is resigning from WWE after 46 years.

It appears as if Pat Patterson has given notice to WWE that he will be leaving the company next week. He gave notice on October 5th, with Taboo Tuesday set to be his final day.

Patterson recently spoke out against how WWE is using Triple H, saying that he is being given too much power and too much storyline focus without creating new stars. Patterson was growing more and more upset with WWE's creative direction as a whole as well. Vince McMahon sent Patterson on the road with the RAW brand a few weeks back to observe and come up with ways to improve the product. Patterson spoke out about Triple H and his growing concern over the company's direction following his run with the RAW crew.

Patterson was always thought of as Vince's right hand man and top "yes man" so it took many by surprise when he spoke out against Triple H. Of course, most believe Triple H to be the second most powerful man in WWE now, behind only Vince himself.

Patterson has been with WWE for 46 years, but that will likely come to an end next week over this controversy with Triple H.

Paterson, one of the greatest IC champs ever, Vince's right hand man (hur hur hur) and creator of the Royal Rumble will leave. What do you guys think about HHH being more powerful than Shane? Is Triple H killing World Wrestling Entertainment?

Triple H already killed it. Im so sick of him being the center of every RAW and always holding the belt. Hes boring - he needs to just stop and go back to DX.

HHH is the man, but everything does seem to revolve around him
they need more superstars to become the main attraction. I'd like to see Maven get a bigger role

He is the last of the Attitude Big Names (Austin and Rock being the other 2) and they are clinging to that. If he leaves, they will have no more big superstars and will have to push mid carders, hopefully creating an imaginative storyline for the first time in a long time.

^In other words he should go away...I'm all for that.

nah. I think they need to start switching people. Put Angle on Raw and have him go against Orton

That would seriously break it up some...or atleast he can get hurt for a while or whatever...anything, I haven't been keeping up with Tna though, though I think it's better.

I remember when he went by Hunter Hearst Helmsley, wrestling only on Sunday Night Heat and acting all snobby. The good 'ol days.

Orton > HHH

Every time I see HHH come out, I change the channel. He's so damned boring.

It is dead because of H and the terrible writting personal. H has had the belt for over 6 years if memory serves me right. SIX!

Sad to hear about Patterson. I think he is pulling a JR quit for a reason then he will be rehired but I don't think this will work on this occasion.

H needs to take a super extremely long vacation.
Evolution needs to be broken up.
Batista has major potential to be a singles wrestler.
Flair needs to turn to his real character not this little dog sucking up to a bigger dog crap. Huh huh huh ralph what shall we do today ralph huh huh huh.

Triple H did best with DX...his role was also quite entertaining when he first came back after his injury and played a Face for a while. If he left, all the main guys of my childhood are basically gone (well kane is still there but with a shitty role...(though it is improving)). So i really dont think i want him to leave, just not be the center of everything and not have a fucking faction with him all the time to save his ass.

What they need to do is make Benoit the center of RAW...do you know fucking over he was during his title run...it was insane..

^ I don't really like Benoit but I do agree he was over like crazy.

Snitzky(sp?) I think has major major potential. I like his slogan. It's not my fault!

DX is dead and gone. The Attitude era is over, and it's time to move on. I have a feeling that Triple H will be in the main event scene until he retires, and then he'll have virtually unlimited backstage power. He'll basically become what Kevin Nash was in WCW; booking matches to put his friends on top.

If they choose to keep him in the story line that is.
