http://ds.advancedmn.com/images/content/boxart/Super%20Mario%2064%20DS.jpg

Publisher: Nintendo (http://www.nintendo.com)

Rating: Everyone

Number of Players: 4

Overview: SM64 is invading Nintendo's new handheld system, complete with fresh new functionality designed to take advantage of the portable's touch, dual screen and wireless capabilties. Besides Mario, eager players may now take Luigi, Yoshi and Wario on a wild romp through the Mushroom Kingdom, playing through the game in it's original single-player mode. Conversely, players may choose to take a jaunt through Adventure mode, engage in some mini-games or go head-to-head with up to three buddies using the wire-free Versus mode - which requires only one DS cartridge to engage in!

Feel the Magic: XY / XX
http://ds.advancedmn.com/images/media/feelthemagicdsboxart.jpg

Publisher: SEGA (http://www.sega.com)

Rating: Teen

Number of Players: 1

Overview: Also known by its Japanese title Kimi no Tame Nara Shineru (I Would Die For You). You play as a rather ordinary character who one day falls in love at the first sight of a particularly hot chick. From then on, the character puts all his energy into getting the girl, only to find numerous obstacles in his way. The game was given its name to deliver the sense of how serious the main character's attraction is to the girl -- a good thing, because the entire point of the game is to earn the girl's affection. You use the Nintendo DS's touch panel to interact with the game and make the girl grow fond of you. The basic gist of the game is to touch the girl via the touch screen. In fact, the game doesn't even use the standard D-pad and button controls -- it's all about the touch.

Madden NFL 2005
http://ds.advancedmn.com/images/content/boxart/Madden%20NFL%202005.jpg

Publisher: EA Sports (http://www.easports.com)

Rating: Everyone

Number of Players: 2

Overview: If you've been playing football video games for any length of time, you know what you're going to get in the basic package--a season mode, quick game, two-minute drill, all that fun stuff. So what makes Madden NFL 2005 on the DS unique? When the DS was announced earlier in the year, a football game with plays displayed on the second screen was one of the first common examples of a practical use for the system, and indeed, your plays in Madden will show up on the lower screen (and you can conveniently pick a play simply by tapping it with your thumb). During a play, the view will change over to an overhead view with an Xs-and-Os display indicating your players and those of the opposition. These new features seemed to enhance the flow of the game nicely since we could absorb more information without ever losing our player's-eye view of the action.

Spiderman 2
http://ds.advancedmn.com/images/content/boxart/Spider-Man%202.jpg

Publisher: Activision (http://www.activision.com)

Rating: Everyone

Number of Players: 1

Overview: Spider-man 2 will take the same approach as the other versions of the game by using the movie's plot as a base. However, the game will flesh it out with a few more villains, such as Mysterio and the Vulture. The game's story will unfold over the course of 14 chapters that will pit you against the aforementioned villains and Doctor Octopus, as well as a hefty assortment of thugs. The odds are naturally quite daunting, but Spidey won't be going into the fight without some muscle. Your progress through the game will reward you with new supermoves that are just what the doctor ordered for laying the smack down on supervillains and garden-variety thugs.

The Urbz: Sims in the City
http://ds.advancedmn.com/images/content/boxart/The%20Urbz%20-%20Sims%20In%20The%20City.jpg

Publisher: EA Games (http://www.eagames.com)

Rating: Everyone

Number of Players: 4

Overview: The basic structure of The Urbz's DS experience will be similar to the Game Boy Advance title in that you'll take direct control of your very own Sim and set out to build up your reputation. The premise finds you attempting to thwart Daddy Bigbucks, who is intent on taking over the city of Miniopolis. The game places less emphasis on the standard Sim needs, such as hygiene, and lets you focus more on living your virtual life and boosting your reputation. In fact, it will be possible to earn special motives, such as insomnia, that let your Sim pretty much go without sleep. Your daily life is filled with events and various tasks that will have you interacting with the denizens of the neighborhood and collecting all kinds of stuff. In the material sense, you'll find new objects, including a sensory-deprivation tank and a personal skydiving machine.

Publisher: THQ (http://www.thq.com)

Rating: Rating Pending

Number of Players: 16

Overview: Aside from similar 16-user chatting abilities via text or doodles, Ping Pals offers much more personality. Each person involved in a Ping Pals chat session is represented by a avatar person that can be dressed up in clothing and accessories, items that must be earned to actually utilize. By earning points by collecting, trading, chatting, and winning mini-games, players can spend these points to make their on-screen character "cooler."

Number of Players: 1

Rayman DS promises to carry lots of content, including 45 areas that you can race and battle in. And in Rayman DS, he can jump on rockets, ride whirlwinds, and surf lava. In addition to varied environments, featuring waterfalls, deep sea caves, and pirate holdouts, among others, Rayman DS plans to us the system's bottom screen by allowing you to monitor Rayman's health, as well as keep track of his lums, which are the little items that you collect in the game.

ARHero there is not box for Pictochat. The closest you can do is post a pic of the DS box with the area that says pictochat included. I also found your boxes so you might want to update them since I can't do the stuff like you do and no one else can unless they post it like BlurpleMunkey. Ack! DS.IGN is back from vacation!

Alright, I just updated the list.

-I added Sprung and removed Tiger Woods since it is no longer (http://www.gamespot.com/news/2004/11/12/news_6113048.html) a launch title.
-There is now a boxart for every game. [Except the demos]
-All new screenshot and movie links were added.

I'm still sorting through all the news I've missed over the past 3 weeks, but for some reason I have a hard time believing that Timesplitters: Future Perfect is coming (http://www.nintendonow.com/news.php?news=2628) to the DS.

If I'm wrong that would be great, but I can't find it on IGN or any other site for that matter.
So, I won't believe it.

Dang it, why the hell hasn't EB contacted me about my pre-order yet...I know they have my crap, but they're probably just sitting on it.

EDIT: Damn it, I'm freakin pissed now. What the hell. EBGames said I'm in their "second shipment" of systems, meaning I won't ge tmy order till Sunday or Monday of next week. What bullshit. Turns out that after I pre-ordered it, I saw that it said that orders taken after 11/11 would come with the second shipment. But I ordered on the damn 11th, and met the deadline anyway.

Screw EB.

Bought it at Toys R Us, then Mario 64 DS at Gamestop. Best buy I've ever made. Kicks total ass.

^ What a load of crap. I preorder the damn thing 10 days early, I get shit on, but people just walk into other stores and snatch it up.

I'll probably never preorder anything from EB again.

i got it OMG! This thing is totally gonna pwn at school tomorrow.

Mario 64 is sooo 1337. I am using the D-pad to play it and it feels just fine. I tried using the strap, but it was kinda annoying.

I'm surprised that it didn't come out in Japan first.

Too bad I'm too poor to afford one :(.

I'd get this, but it's not interesting me much. The only game I really want to play is Feel the Magic. Super Mario 64 looks fun. Those two are the only games that look good.

Hunters looks okay, but it seems like it's not gonna be as fun as Prime or Prime 2.

I don't know, the DS right now isn't looking too good right now. Maybe I'll get it later when all the good games come out or when the proce drops. I'd rather use my money on good games right now, not a $150 handheld with one good game.

The Ds is incredible, if you love video games, you'll simply love this system. It's just...wow.

Damn you Outlaw, having the money to afford 5 games. But I did finally get a DS. I got it on Saturday and must say it is spectacular. Hunters is not a bad game at all. First Hunt is very enjoyable. Too bad it's the only game I have, and it's just a demo....

As soon as I get 30 bucks then it's straight to the store for me to get Super Mario 64 DS!

Haha. You sound like a Nintendo robot. If these titles were on the psp you'd probably say otherwise... :queer:

I still don't own a DS. I'm gonna get one soon for the Mario 64 and probably Feel the Magic. I just need the money.

If people saw super mario ds on PSP... well 1st it'd be the end of the world 2nd they'd have a heart attack or something extreme.
