Some of you may remember back in April my cousin got me free tickets to the Coheed & Cambria / Funeral For A Friend show, and now he got me tickets for tonight's Coheed & Cambria / Underoath show. I can't wait... I'm sitting in my computer class right now and I'm so friggin' bored, I'm surfing the internet and listening to music (thanks to a carefully placed earpiece and my hoodie) through my Nomad.... I'm listening to their Live at La Zona Rosa CD and it makes me want to be there even quicker.

On their website they said all set lists will be over an hour; which is great, because they had to cut their last show short because the venue turns into a dance club on weekends. I'm taking my girlfriend (along with going with my cousin and some of his friends) to begin to convert her away from mainstream rap into "my" music.... so far she likes Saves the Day, which is a start. Anywho, I just felt like going on and on because I have nothing better to do. I should be out of this boring-ass class in a half-hour or so, then I get to go home and relax until she gets out of school and then after awhile we'll head over to my cousin's and then to Clutch Cargo's in downtown Pontiac (for those living in MI... should at least be familiar with the name). So tonight = Coheed & Cambria, Underoath and 3..... I will post many pictures if cameras are permitted.

I doubt cameras will be allowed, but that's still pretty sweet. Have fun.

How come they don't allow cameras at gigs anymore?

because people lose/throw/break them and people go to stupid extremes to get a good picture

Cameras are allowed in most clubs, but not big ampitheaters/pavillions.

3 was okay, nothing too special. Underoath was pretty good, but no older stuff (like 'When the Sun Sleeps') :( . Coheed was awesome, their set had to be around an hour and fifteen minutes. It was a "No Photography" show, but because I'm so awesome at sneaking stuff in I got my camera in and managed to get a few good shots of Coheed.

Hah, the Coheed set was just under two hours in Toronto. AND Underoath played Where the Sun Sleeps. AND 3 was incredible.

PS I want to see your setlist.

I know they played:

- The Crowing
- Devil in Jersey City
- Delirium Trigger
- The Velorium Camper I: Faint of Heart

- The Velorium Camper III: Al the Killer
- A Favor House Atlantic
- Everything Evil (with no medly inbetween :realmad )
- Blood Red Summer

I might be forgetting 1 or 2, but I may be wrong. But those ones I'm sure of.

I think we have the same setlist.... looks like I'm just not very good at keeping track of time. Did they leave the stage after Everything Evil for you guys too?

man you are so freakin lucky. i love them.
they are coming to austin texas, but my mom wont let me go travel 3 hrs away without "adult supervision." Yah, it is ridiculous.
We occasionally get some really good bands to come to my town though, like Before Braille, Jupiter Sunrise, and Dynamite Boy. Those are some of my favorite bands.

It helps when your phone has a camera on it. That's how my friend got pictures at the Hoobastank concert.

I wish cameras were allowed at Morrissey. I would have taken MAD pictures, yo.
