Right now I still have a while before I have to deal with the idea of being done w/college and facing life head on.

I've had full time jobs before but thats just summer...and thats w/o anything like rent and major car payment(s).

Ever just think about where you might be after graduation? Or for those who are already in the business world where do you see your career taking you?

The unstability of my major. I could go from one company to another every single year until like maybe the age of 30.

^congratz, alot of people do that now. More and more high schools around the country are allowing for higher education in the HS or allowing students to go to a local college.

I'm trying to get a double major with a minor in english. I want to double major in history and physchology. These majors really have no good job oppurtunities but that's ok because I'm going to be an author/firefighter/professional poker player. I figure the first 5 or so years off on my own are going to be really shitty and I'm going to be poor as shit, but once my book gets published and I start making millions off of it and my poker playing I'll be living quite nicely.

Hopefully by the time I start life I will be good at making good movies, and then I can make one excellent movie and retire early.
Or I could make one excellent movie, and with all my stacks of money I can create numerous experimental films that no one likes! Yeah!
But I'll probably end up in some dead end job that isn't too bad, but goes nowhere ever.
Oh well, I don't like change anyway.

This is my first year of college, and I like it a lot. I am currently undertaking a duel major in Electrical Engineering and Phyiscs. Both of these majors give me a minor in mathamatics...so Yay!

I was speaking to a professor, and they told me that they offer trips to facilities like the Fermi Lab, Cern, and other science facilites and particle accelerators. The only downside is that it would take time away from the school year, so I am not sure if I will go if offered. There are only about 13 Physics majors on campus, so there are a lot of private experiaments that we the students get to participate in. If the entry is published in a scientific journal, we get our name on it. Yay again!

In all honesty, I plan to never really leave school. I will probably teach some classes at a university one day. Education should never end for it keeps your mind sharp and your senses open. I see a formal "Work" to be the death of me, so I doubt I will ever get a deskjob willingly. Hopefully I can get into one of the experiements going on to build a portfolio to be accepted into a graduate school for physics. My ultament goal is to get a Fud in Physics and learn how to speel/

I could never be a teacher, especially at high school.

I hope to get in on the game creating bussiness once I complete my University course dedicated to game development.

I read an article on the education system. It stated that the aducation system was nothing more than technical training and not for the purpose of higher education. It went to compare education to be of all learning aspects, classical to present.

Anyone else believe this to be true anymore?>

Architect all the way for me! Thats why i gotta keep on my art and maths, but i'm not worried about that cause maths is like my favourite subject so shouldn't be too bad. Love buildings aswell. Just the structure and design is brilliant. Amsterdam and Paris have some the best ever.

NukeBlaze, you ever read Angels and Demons by Dan Brown? Cern plays a big part in that book. It's in Switzerland right?

Ryan, I just write about anything. I've started about 4 different novels that haven't really lead anywhere. Being an author is tough.

Nope. WHat does it mention about CERN?

Some type of secret experiements aginst humanity I assume?

That is the only thing I can think of for a giant Particle accelerator/ research lab. Unless the town's name is cern too?
