Dead Phoenix has large environments and free flight. PDO is a rail shooter. Dead Phoenix gets my vote, but I doubt the reviewers will think much of it.

That's because the Rare Kart game is coming from >>RARE<<, whereas the lead designer of Dead Phoenix just stepped down a day or two ago. Gee, I wonder...........

I played PDO as well... What's the point in all of the "arranged scenery" if you can't exploit any of it? Rail shooting is alright... like in the James Bond games... but that's only because you've got to do it three or four times and not for the whole game.

If you think that picture of Dead Pheonix looks good, you'd cream yourself when you saw a picture of PDO. PDO's graphics are amazing.

PDO is just an awesome game, period. It will dominate Dead Pheonix. Just because it's a rail shooter doesn't make it bad...and like Galcian said, if it was on GCN, you guys would be saying it's amazing...

Yeah, but the demo isn't what the real game is like. Smilebit thought the game was too easy after they released the demo, so they pushed it back a month or so and retooled it.
