Dear Macca,
You ask for our opinions, and then bash anything we have to say. That's not a fucking thread. It's a fucking dictatorship.
I have come to understand that your previous post was directed towards me. I would like to state, right now, that you are an asshole. You also happen to be ignorant and retarded. If you had any musical knowledge at all, you would know that Ozomatli is not rock.

If you knew me at all, you would know that I am an avid old school rap listener.

Look into Del The Funkee Homosapien's "I Wish My Brother George Was Here."

You make me vomit with your irreverent hate.

do i sense anger...? anyway i respect your musical views or whatever its just simple minded people who say i haven't heard of them so they suck and yes i am an asshole, i dont think im ignorant or retarded though, that was mean :(

i never said that nor implied it. i gave you a suggestion which you may have liked, considering your previous cd purchases. i didnt expect you to like it, but i got into ozomatli from listening to amerikus knightmare and wanting something different.

del the funkee homosapien's album is as good as rap gets though.

Friday...

That's when I recieved three CDs myself.

Fantomas - Amenaza Al Mundo (8.5/10)
The Streets - Original Pirate Material (8/10)
The Streets - A Grand Don't Come For Free (9/10)

AGDCFF is better everytime I listen to it.

I'm not asking for anyone's opinions, but feel free to voice them anyway.
I can then say, "I never asked for your [bad] opinion [insult]!!!"

Oh cool!
I think it would be worth it just for the 'Gantz Graf' video (which I always go on about.)
I was actually looking at it's video list the other day, and I saw a Prefuse 73 video, but I don't know what song it is.
But what's that video (and the rest of the videos) like?
Warp releases such cool music, I get curious as to all of their videos.

Mike Skinner = God.

Favourite song off both albums, Boggy?

yeah, there is a p73 video on there. I never heard the track somewhere else either. the video is aiight but it's absolutely not the best on that DVD. it's mostly abstract city visions and weird color-ish stuff. it goes well with the music for sure.

yes, that Gantz Graf video is totally awesome, it's so complex and beautiful, I guess it's like one of the few really great combinaison of image and music. it fits so well together.

as most of the other videos, they are mostly great. the antipop ones are amazing. have you ever seen the one for "Perpendicular / Vector" ? that shit is just great. and the one they did for ghostlawns is good too. the aphex videos are awesome. 'On' is old but gold. and the 2 directed by chris cunningham ('Come to daddy' and 'Windowlicker') are just plain fucking great. you should checkout squarepusher's video for that song called 'come on my selector' directed by chris as well. its effing funny. and you get 2 GREAT plaid videos. some dope old stuff. too many to mention. it's abstolutely great and you should check out that DVD... maan ! and you need to see how horrible is that sweather Beans is wearing in his video called 'Mutescreamer'.

I'm lucky I'm only one percent of people.

My favorite songs off each album... are...

Original Pirate Material:
Has It Come To This
and
Same Old Thing

and

A Grand Don't Come For Free:
It Was Supposed To Be So Easy
Fit But You Know It
and
Empty Cans

It's too hard to pick just one that I like the most.

The rest of this post is for Arbee.

I've seen 'Perpendicular / Vector' and also a bunch of Aphex Twin videos too, but I'm definately going to find the Squarepusher and also the Plaid videos.
Oh, and the 'Beans - Mutescreamer' video (although I much prefer the Prefuse 73 remix.)
And I WILL find that Prefuse video to watch.
I WILL!!!
