I just wanted to let everyone know that PC Gaming is what I base my life on. Really. I spend every waking moment researching the newest and best games coming out, raising enough money to buy them, and spending all my days playing them. Well, maybe I'm exaggerating a bit, but let's just say I'm skilled in this area. I've played everything from the Classic Doom to the sleeper hit Battlezone to the ever-so-popular Sims.
So, if you got a PC gaming question, I probably have the answer for you.
or do you just want to go into a hot debate in whether or not UT2003 is too much like Q3? lol. I'm such a geek.

Neverwinter Nights is fairly good. Not the best, but it's up there. Plus, the neverending possibilities make this game pretty awesome. Graphics aren't too bad either.
Have you looked at Warcraft 3? You might like it, but then again, you might not. Warcraft 3 is the kinda' game where you either really like it or you really hate it. If you enjoy Blizzard games, such as the both the Diablos you have, then you could possibly really enjoy this game.

CM, why kind of MMORPG are you looking for? Past, future, wizards, spaceships, what? Ive played some of them (some longer than others)...and I may be able to give you some advice.

It really depends on what you're looking for.
The two I would recommend would be EQ and AO.
I played EQ for well over 2 years, AO (Anarchy Online) for 4+ months or so and Ive given some others a try. EQ is set in the past...medievil: warriors, wizards, castles, dragons, etc. AO is set more in the future...sci-fi so to speak: guns, robots, implants, nanos, etc.
EQ is not for the average gamer...by any means. It's not a game you can play for an hour here and there. It's very, very time consuming (well, if you want the most out of the game anyway). It revolves around grouping with others...so, there's not a lot of room for solo fighters (it can be done, and I have done it plenty, but it's not what the game is all about). There's many zones and dungeons to group in, for experience and fun and there's also many boss mobs and zones that take multiple groups (40-50+ people) to kill, for the more advanced (higher level) players (usually those in good guilds (clans/teams). There's a lot of side quests to do as well. There's 4 expansions to the original EQ, so the playing world (Norrath) is HUGE. I enjoyed the hell out of it while I played it and sometimes I still miss it.
AO is a better fit for someone who doesnt have the time to put in hours and hours on a game. However, AO can become just as time consuming as EQ, if you want to reach the high-end parts of the game. AO is a little more complicated than EQ. There's implants you have to build/wear that make you better, along with nano formulas (spells so to speak) for each profession which require different skills and such (will go into this more later, if needed). AO uses grouping as well, but it's not a "must" (like in EQ). AO revolves around doing missions...ie: going to a mission terminal, selecting a mission, completing it and recieving a reward (cash/items/xp). There are solo missions and team missions. There are very few actual quests to do, but the loot/equip system is set up differently. AO is still fairly new and improving a lot and the first expansion is coming out soon.
There's PvP (player vs player) in both games, but AO is better for PvP if that's what youre looking for. The new AO expansion catters specifically to PvP.
As far as the others...I've played DAoC (dark ages of camelot) and AC (asheron's call). I didnt play either for very long, so I wont comment much on those. They both have settings kind of like EQ; warriors, spells, etc.
Anyway, I could go on and on with information about each game, but I wont. Just let me know what youre looking for and ask me any questions you have and Im sure I can answer them.
