Once as a child I gave a presentation to my class...
I must have been no older than eight or nine...
It was about justice, and I remember what I said.
In my childish monotone voice I read what I wrote:
"Justice is when the bad guy goes to jail.
When there is justice we are safe because
All that bad guys have gone to jail."
I must have continued on like that for an entire page
But nothing more was expected of me.
Once as a child I believed that justice was punishment
But nothing more that I could understand.
Justice is the bullet-ridden bodies of young children.
Justice is the business-criminal who never gets caught.
Justice is dead.
Justice is punishment for the wicked.
I must have been no older than eight or nine...
It was about justice, and I remember what I said.
In my childish monotone voice I read what I wrote:
"Justice is when the bad guy goes to jail.
When there is justice we are safe because
All that bad guys have gone to jail."
