That was by far one of the most boring games i have ever watched. The entire second half was filled with substitutions. Spain dominated the entire match, and add to that England and Spain combined might have had 5 shots on target the entire match. The game was disgraceful to football, and wayne rooney was pathetic. He is a great player, but unless he calms down, he will never reach his full potentials. he is just lucky that he plays on the same as ferdinand...

Yeah, I can imagine it was pretty boring... it was a soccer match, after all.

Actually soccer that doesn't involve American teams can be pretty sweet. I downloaded a Manchester United vs. Manchester City match on bittorrent (thanks to PA) and it's pretty fun to watch.

Wayne Rooney is quality and temperment is part of his game, live with it.

Friendlys are always boring, managers just use them as a chance to give shittes (like Carragher and Butt) a runabout. I only watched up to Spain's goal, our defending was shit and seeing as we have like the second best defence in the world we really should have done better.

We need Scholes back.

:(

EDIT: Have fun watching a goal-less draw Traviso?

I laughed my head off when Rooney pushed Casilass into the rails. Man thats was toooooo funny, then like a minute later he does a harsh tackle, he just gets funnier, lol

rooneys a prat he's got the chance to be one of the greatest players but he will never reach his full standars acting like that, and throwing the armband off was a disgrace to british football

OK, throwing an armband or is awful, yes. But he was hot heated and I don't think he did it with those intentions, it was just the nearest thing available to him at which he could vent some anger.

Anyway, the racist spanish fans were much worse than that, although the media don't think so.

fair enough he didnt mean to do it and regrets it but the way the media and english people will look at it is that he did do it whether he meant to or not

yeah, sure whatever you say!!!! even with the original team on England did absolutely shit infront of Spain. I know its a friendly, but it doesn't really show Englands revolutionary squad.
