I was soooooooooooo disappointed with this game and we waited at our mall at midnight just to get it since it was so freckin HYPED up! Never hype games again Adam if they can't live up to expectations. Crappy ending, crappy story, sameish gameplay, and retarded xbox live setup IMO. :corky: :corky:

Even my brother who is a almost strictly a xbox fanboy and hates kiddy games was disappointed and hated this game.

Was anybody else disappointed from this game? That's usually why I don't get hyped about much things but people keep saying that Halo 2 was the best game ever created and it was SOOOOOO not. :(

You are far from any position to tell others not to spam. Ontop of that, you can thank yourself for all the flaming.

Alpha told me his favorite game was Bible Adventures.

Halo 2 just can't compare. The story sucks SO BAD and the gameplay is SO FLAWED!!!

Somebody has that quote in their sig from the IGN Xbox guy about Halo 2 and the people who don't like it being idiots or something...he needs to post here.

I didn't hate the game...it was fun like Halo 1 but it was a disappointment with all the hype and things people kept saying. I thought they would do much more than it was said and how they crapped the ending just to sell more on xbox 2 just made me angry.

I also didn't like that I couldn't keep playing the same game with people online and it was always someone new so unless you randomly pick someone to be on your friends list it's hard to get know people.

Halo 2 kicked ass. Minus the ending.

Pretty much says it all. And "maybe" the only other fault is especially on a small TV the whole HUV is a bit more cramped than the original Halo.

No game will ever live up to expectations when you buy into all the hype. When they show, previews, movies, screenshots, etc, it's ALWAYS the best stuff. They make you expect too much. When you get the game, along with the best things they show, there will mediocre and some bad parts to it. However, if you take the game for what it is, I think it's one of the most complete games ever made. That's why I learned not to buy into all the hype long ago (although I watched the trailers a ton of times, I was virtually clueless about what to expect).

The graphics are INCREDIBLE for a console game, and people are complaining about a stupid technicality that only happens for maybe .5 seconds at the beginning of a match or a cut-scene. Matchmaking is incredible, because it's always paired up to be more fair matches, and it really helps you to progress. Not to mention you can join with your friends to have some familiar faces helping you on your quest to get higher levels. Party mode is great too, but you gotta have friends to play it, and that's something alpha seems to be deprived of, so I won't talk about it.

I was not disappointed with the game, and plan on running through it on legendary now as well, in addition to completing Heroic Co-Op with my roomie.

Halo 2 isn't the best game ever made, but it is damn good in my opinion, and really sets the stage for the third. The ending really didn't bother me too much.

Oh, and Adam and alpha, try to drop some of the petty jabs and stay on topic, please.

To put it bluntly, Halo 2's gameplay sucked. Online was cool though. Rainbow Six 3 Raven Shield>Halo 2

This game is not bad. But compared to games like Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, Halo 2 does fail. Halo still owes in mutiplayer. However, the single player didn't live up to the hype. Though, it wasn't horrible, it just fell short.

To tell the truth, I didn't buy Halo 2 for the single player. In fact my expectations of it were rather low after Halo's single player sucked ass. Halo 2's is far superior, and although I haven't gotten to the dreaded ending yet, I love playing it.
