View Full Version : Viper, your precious Jags better bring it.

Because the Pack is going to stomp them.
Viper

If Favre plays even half as bad next week as he did this week, your Packers will get ass packed all day long.
Joey Harrington threw for just 47 yards and GB won by only a FG.
The Jags have taken out offense powerhouses like KC, Denver and Indy and came one point away from handed Pitts a loss.
I think you are nervous. You've seen what can happen to proud teams when they face the Jags. You've seen what happens to teams that try to rely on outside influences, a la GB weather. This Sunday you will see Green Bay lose.

Kansas City? arent they 3-9 or something?
Are the Jags leading their division?
Dorbin

No offense Viper, but I have family in Wisconsin...cheese heads.
Go Green Bay! :)
Viper
12-13-2004, 05:53 PM
KC was a bit better off back then than they are now. Losing Priest Holmes for the year will do that.
Indy is leading our division but we have beaten them.
We just beat Chicago 22-3 but Chicago has beaten GB 21-10.

Favre played horendous the last two weeks. IF the half-time turn around this week didn't show you, Favre can go from sucking to scoring with just a snap of his fingers.
You're screwed.
EDIT: You guys got beat by Huston and Minnisota. If I'm using your thinking, we should roll.
Also, if you would notice when we lost to the Bears we were 1 - 4. We then went on a 6 week tear through the NFL, and if it weren't for Favre playing like ass last week against Philly, that streak might STILL be going strong.
Viper
12-13-2004, 07:16 PM
And it weren't for a fumble for a TD, we'd have beaten Minnesota.
We can play the IF game all day but I have a better day for you....Sunday.
"You guys got beat by Huston and Minnisota" Look at you. All shaking and making mistakes. That is just so cute.

I'm not worried. Check this link.

Didn't I tell you we beat both Denver and Buffalo in below 30 degree wather? In the playoffs no less.
Byron Leftwhich wants a cold game.
"I hope it's about 10 degrees" - Byron Leftwhich.
goku2057
12-13-2004, 07:26 PM
Pfft. Denver? Buffalo? Eff them in the A. Brett Favre doesn't lose at home in below freezing weather. It's a proven fact, bitch.
PLus, Denver sucks, and don't get me started on the sucking habits of Buffalo.
PLUS the Jags have one more games by a feild goal than the Packers, so your beating the Lions by three is null and void. Albeit the Lions suck something awful, but a wins a win I always say. And come Sunday, it'll be just that, a win for the Pack, bitch.
;p
Viper
12-13-2004, 07:34 PM
Goku, they had never lost at home in the playoffs....until we beat them.
Harrington played like crap and GB was extremely lucky from it. Only 47 yards.
goku2057
12-13-2004, 08:05 PM
Actually, everyone played like crap, the wind was awful.
And Atlanta was the one to break the Packers home playoff streak, not the Jags.
Viper
12-13-2004, 08:07 PM
Did I say Packers? I said Denver and Buffalo. They both HAD a streak too.
goku2057
12-13-2004, 08:08 PM
The last time you played us you lost.
http://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/jax2001.htm
I am going to have to go with goku on this one and say the Packers are going to stomp the Jags. I watch the Bears game on sunday and even though the Jags won 22-3 they still did not look like all that great of a team. I think the Packers can easily beat them, especially since favre plays his best games in cold weather.
Viper
12-13-2004, 08:20 PM
While we ae diggin in the past.
2004
Philly beat GB - 47-17
2002
Jags beat Philly - 28-25
If Philly can beat the snot out of GB and we can beat Philly....we can beat the snot out of GB.
They barely beat the Lions with harrington throwing only 47 yards. What are they going to do with Leftwhich throwing for 250+?
to bad the 2004 philly team is 5 times better then the 2002 team.
Viper
12-13-2004, 08:56 PM
Interestingly....so are we compared to our 2002 team.
goku2057
12-13-2004, 10:26 PM
Yes, because you sucked then, and you suck now.
goku2057
12-13-2004, 10:27 PM
Ah, you beat Chicago who beat Minnisota, but you lost to Minnisota. WE lost to Chicago but beat Minnisota.
Coincedence?

That's right, sink to cheap shots, cause you know the Pack are going to get their asses handed to them on a platter with all of teh trimmings.
Oh, and they're going to like it.

UMM. Viper, the Chiefs started the season 0-6.. they have sucked all year.
goku2057
12-14-2004, 07:19 AM
THat they most certainly have. So have the Bears. WE just played REALLY sucky against the Bears.
OMG!!! THE JAGS BEAT TEH BEARS!!1!!1
I'm quaking in my boots.
UMM. Viper, the Chiefs started the season 0-6.. they have sucked all year.
yeh but the Chief's just beat the Titans without Priest and the Titans have beat Green Bay twice this year if you include pre season
goku2057
12-14-2004, 10:13 PM
But when the Titans beat Green Bay they had McNair. The lost to the Cheifs without McNair.
And the loss to the Titans pushed us over the edge, from suckyness to greatness. We've went 7 for 8 since then.
but the Chiefs didn't have priest, anyway the Titans give that game away at the end
peasantlover
12-15-2004, 05:13 AM
wtf Macca? and the packers beat the vikings who beat the chargers who beat the lions who beat the seahawks who beat the Saints who beat the Texans who beat the Jags.. what difference does all that crap make?
Viper
12-15-2004, 12:57 PM
See you Sunday. Favre better bring his A game.
Viper
12-16-2004, 05:57 AM
Sorry for the double.

6 analysts and 4 pick the Jags.
goku2057
12-16-2004, 06:37 AM
Analysts can suck a wang. When the Pack was 1-4 all the Analysts said they'd never make the playoffs.
Viper
12-16-2004, 06:39 AM
And they still might not.
The analysts overall consesus have only missed the Jags once this year. Especially Prisco. He's only missed one game on us. He picked Jags this week.
goku2057
12-16-2004, 06:47 AM
Prisco likes boys. That's a known fact.
Viper
12-16-2004, 06:49 AM
So does Goku but we don't hold that against you.
goku2057
12-16-2004, 07:10 AM
Hey, it's a well known fact I like boys. Little boys that is. In fact, I don't touch anything over 13. Puberty may have started in effect, and there's just to many other variables to mention. And the STD's did you know ne in 500 13 year olds has an STD? Gross. The last thing I need from molesting little kids is the clap.

Wind Chill is reportedly going to be around -4 at gametime tomorrow.
Yay!
Favre's 38-1 when the temp is below 34 degrees.

They are predicted to be 38-2 by this time tomorrow.

Not according to ESPN. 5 out of 8 Analysts picked teh pack.

Ryan Longwell sucks ass.
Damn Favre for throwing a red zone interception...

peasantlover
12-20-2004, 01:31 AM
OH MAN! Packers just got robbed, what an interception that was. Damn, that receiver got pwned. The crowd thought it was a td and started cheering.. haha.
Viper
12-20-2004, 01:47 AM
WHAT DID I TELL YOU!!
I don't know what did you say?
meh it wasn't that big of a suprise after I saw that the packers had clinched a playoff birth early do to other losses and taking into the account that the Jags are still fighting for a playoff spot they just wanted it more. and what a cheap shot on fergusan fucking player whos name I can't remember.
goku2057

If Donald Driver didn't let that douche strip him, we would have won, OR if Ryan Longwell (Who NEVER misses) didn't miss, we would have tied.
You got lucky, and you know it. You barely beat the Packers when they played like ass, congrats.

Oh, and that hit Darius made was completely uncalled for. He most likely took Furgeuson out for the rest of the season, and possibly even ended his career.
Also, he is one of our good recievers (notice he held onto the ball through all of that!) and his being in could have changed the tide of the game.

Yeah, I was pretty amazed that he held onto the ball.

Is that a violin I hear? Why yes, it is.
If you want to play the "If", actually it wasn't an if at all. GB got a free TD by Sharper. Even you have to admit, the ball was moving forward because it landed 10 yards downfield and the Ref ruled it a fumble because even though it was moving forward, he threw from his palm. That's funny because the ball spiraled. I'm watching it right now on the NFL channel. It was a forward pass that should have been ruled an incomplete pass but was a very bad call that rewarded GB with a free TD......so don't try and play the 'IF' game on me.
GB lost, accept it. If it's any consolation, GB has made the playoffs.

It really doesn't matter anyway, a win wouldn't make any difference in the regular season now.

My Dad likes the Packers...his family are a bunch of cheeseheads from Wisconsin. :)
I kinda like them too, although I don't take sides very much in pro football. Glad they beat them Vikings today though...close game, although I didn't really watch.

You rage all about our Pack and how it's impossible for my Fl Jags to win in the cold of GB but when the Pack actually lost it's, "It really doesn't matter...." after you already said, "You got lucky, and you know it. You barely beat the Packers when they played like ass, congrats."

goku2057

You beat the Pack when they played like ass, but in the end it really doesn't matter. We still won our division.
Viper
12-26-2004, 05:43 AM
We're on page 4 of a thread that you created and you want to tell me that it didn't matter to you?
So did GB only beat Minn because Minn played like ass?
dncardman
12-26-2004, 07:25 AM
yeah pretty much. The announcers were exclaiming about Farve's incredible ability and saying "who else would you want in this situation" but I was thinking "what other defense would you want to go against in this situation"
Farve will be gone in a couple years and they will suck for another 50 years until they find a good QB.
goku2057
12-27-2004, 09:19 PM
^ Bingo.
Minnesota's defense sucks, and even when they play good they still suck, just like the Packers.
Favre is a different story though.
