Lord Worm

When I saw the previews in Nintendo Power, I immediately thought, "This looks good."
A brief description:
You wake up in a government institution, suffering from amnesia. You discover you have psychic powers. You must escape from the institution and find out who you are and how you came to have psychic powers.
====
+ Your psychic powers are fun to use.
+ The levels are challenging. "Normal" is pretty hard. "Challenging" is practically sodomy.
+ Playing around with computers is fun, especially when you don't know the password.
+ Your "mana" regenerates very quickly. You never have to wait around.
- The dialogue is corny.
- The plot has some fairly large gaps in it.
- The plot resembles "The Butterfly Effect" in some instances.
- Play control is a little ugly. Switching between psychic powers isn't fun.
- Aiming with a weapon is retarded.
- Having enemies respawn every time somebody looks at you is annoying.
- You must go through a couple levels babysitting a retarded character.
====
Summary: Not a bad game. The graphics are sub-par. The voice acting is quite good despite the corny dialogue. Throwing people around is fun, but largely ineffective as you must literally bash someone against a wall for a couple minutes. The game isn't as dynamic as it claims to be. In fact, it's quite linear. If you are spotted, you must hide. Where you hide is entirely up to you (Yay.)
