Jump Magazine, a weekly Japanese publication, recently confirmed a new release date for Fire Emblem: Souen no Kiseki. The latest Fire Emblem title will hit Japanese shelves April 20 and what better day to release it than the 15th anniversary of the series? Fire Emblem debuted in 1990 on the NES but hasn’t seen the day of lights on a console since the SNES era. Fire Emblem: Souen no Kiseki will mark the first title in the series to take advantage of 3D graphics. Hopefully the latest Fire Emblem will help restore the franchise.

No word or release date on the American version of Fire Emblem: Souen no Kiseki.
