Did Unreal Tournament Deserver 2004 Multiplayer Game of the Year?

I for one think it did. It expanded in so many ways compared what Halo 2 did compared to Halo. No, I'm not dissing the Halo franchise, I'm just saying that Unreal did so much more that it did deserve. Open to discussion.

I've never played Halo, but I've been playing the Unreal series since the orignal release. I love the series, any it keeps getting better. I think that it deserves any awards it receieves.

You'd have to be completely biased in order to believe that Halo 2 multiplayer is superior to Unreal Tourney 2k4.

I played the demo alot when it was released, and it was alot of fun. I can't really give my opinion on this subject, but I can say that Halo 2 is the most fun multiplayer game I've ever played.

I agree with the majority hear when I say that the Unreal Tournament Series are pretty much the most fun I've ever had in a First Person Shooter environment and if they made one for xbox that was like it (im not countint championship its not enough liek it) then it would be gold.

I would actually like to see someone defend Halo 2 as a better multiplayer game than UT2004.

That would be interesting. Like, watching a guy defend that the sky is green.
