Surprised no one mentioned this but looks like EA might have passed the curse to Sega this year.
T.O. (cover of NFL 2K5) of course broke his leg a few weeks back, and it out for the remaining season and playoffs.
Ben Wallace (cover of NBA 2K5) was involved in the nasty brawl and served a suspension.
Hockey - well, thats just a mess in general.
So far, the EA sports cover athletes have been doing well.
