Heretic whatever is in the last part of his name posted this earlier. It sounds interesting. Ok retards lets not do something d00$h33 like getting in depth on the Da Vinci code. I still want to read that book though. It will be released in 06-06-06.

Heres the story:

FACTS

The Beast is currently in pre-production.

The cast and crew are legally sworn to secrecy.

The theory that Jesus Christ never existed, while largely unknown to most lay Christians, is gaining credibility among scholars. Historians do not consider the Gospels to be historically accurate accounts. The authors of the Gospels, writing 40 to 90 years after the supposed life of Christ, never intended for their works to be read as biographies. There are no credible non-Christian references to Christ during the period in which he is said to have lived.

BEHIND THE MOVIE

The Beast is directed by internationally acclaimed filmmaker Brian Flemming. Flemming's work has been called "a parallel universe" by the BBC, "jaggedly imaginative" by the New York Times, and "immensely satisfying" by USA Today. The Fox News Channel dubbed him "a young Oliver Stone." Flemming won the New York Times Claiborne Pell Award for Original Vision for his groundbreaking feature film Nothing So Strange, which was released theatrically in 2003 and is currently distributed on DVD in more than 200 countries.

Flemming is a former fundamentalist Christian. An in-depth interview with him is available in the first issue of The Beast newsletter. For a more extensive biography, see the Internet Movie Database.

EDIT: I just thought of something badass. What if they released the other movie of the same name in a special edition set? Along with action figures. You know the giant squid movie. It will be a squid action figure set of when they try to blow it up. They can also sell calamari at seafood restaurants that come with a 666 cup.

Interesting concept for a film. Seems to be using Da Vinci Code to help hoist the movie.

See this is BS right here. It's using deceptive wording to lie. Historians do not consider the Gospel historically accurate? Really? I guarantee you it's not the majority of them. The wording tries to suggest all historians feel that way. I could say "Historians feel that the Confederates' cause was just and noble" but would that be speaking for the majority? No.
Then it goes on to say the Gospels were written by authors 90 years or so later after Christ? That's a simple lie with no proof. Then it tries to speak for the authors by saying they never intended them to be read literally? How the hell does he think he has the right to speak for them? Another groundless attempt to attack Christianity. Then the crap goes on to say there are no credible sources non-Christian references to Christ during the time. Another BS lie. Obviously he forgot to mention names like the Jewish historian Josephus and Roman historians.

Im getting rather tired of this garbage. This is a slanderous blasphemous film that has no part in a normal community discussion. If they really want to reject Christ, then so be it. They'll realize who the true beast is when they meet the Anti-Christ after Christ returns.

That is ridiculous. From the reading I have done on whether or not historians believe Jesus really existed, none of them deny the fact that he did. There are some that will try to argue that he isn't the son of God, but it is generally accepted that he really was here, and was crucified.

Ok so lets stay on topic. I care about seeing the damn movie. I saw the Passion movie but whether you believed whatever happened in the end is true or not who cares its a movie.

See, if this were a part of your beliefs it would most likely be in the category of "best movie ever". But because it isn't, and actually challenges something you believe in, it's "garbage", "slanderous" and "blasphemous" - without you reading any of the script, seeing any kind of trailer or footage what-so-ever. And your last paragraph is quite amusing, might I add.
