View Full Version : If you could form a band who would you put in it.
First and foremost, I would get Anselmo to do the vocals, not only does he have a good angry voice but he is a very good singer as well. I wish I could sing beautifly and be a badass at the same time.
For lead guitar, without a doubt, Dimebag Darrell, you cant listen to one metal band that dosnt have the same riffs as he does.
for Rhythm guitarist I gotta put Jimmy Hendrex. With what this man and Darell can do, the music that they would have come up with would be out of this world.
For bass, another pantera member, Rex. If he can keep up with dimebag then thats all I need to know.
And for Drums id put Chris Adler from Lamb of God......this guy is fucking good, nuff said.

Hmm...
I would do the following:
Ian Curtis - Vocals/Guitar
Peter Hook - Bass
Bernard Sumner - Guitar/Keyboard
Stephen Morris - Drums
Hmmm... I've never really given that one much thought... well, here's something off the top of my head:
Paul Banks (Interpol) - Lead Vocals
Johnny Greenwood (Radiohead) - Lead Guitar
Kim Deal (Pixies) - Bass
Joe Easley (The Dismemberment Plan) - Drums
I'm not sure that would be my ideal band, but it would definately have a really cool sound to it.
MONSTER ZERO

Dave Grohl is the name you're lookin for MONSTER ZERO
For my fun band:
Atom
Reggie
Wierd Al
Adam Sandler
Jack Black
Dont know who they are? Ask me.
My frikin' sweet ass band:
Eddie Van Halen (guitar)
Slash (guitar)
Flea (bass)
Dave Grohl (drums)
Jack Black (vocals)
Atom (vocals, synthesizer)
Of course, none of these bands would work well together. All-stars never work well together...
It would just be amazing to have them all in the same room.

I didn't put too much thought into band member chemistry or anything like that. I mainly picked favorites.
I obviously like a band with a sense of humor.
I don't think it's possible to have an ideal band.
